"Under new management" = give it a go! :-) The new managers at this resort are keen to make this resort an even more delightful get-away haven: shady trees, exotic birds, a choice of swimming facilities (lagoon pool, lap-pool, ocean waves); a daily happy hour at the bar, excellent restaurant cuisine and wine list, gym, tennis court, shaded walk-ways, friendly... Thanks for your review Sarah W - we are no doubt somewhat biased but think we have a pretty good resort here, that we as new management, are trying to make an even better resort for the enjoyment of our guests. We have a band of existing staff and new staff and all are customer centric which we actively encourage.... More

We found a discount through wotif, so didn't really know how the place would be. We were pleasantly surprised to find a really nice apartment in a great location, just a little way out of Rainbow Beach down the coast about 2km. We were biking distance to everywhere including Inskip Pt., Rainbow Beach, and Carlo Pt. The beach was walking... More

Good morning Gary F, Nice to see an international guest enjoying what is a beautiful part of the world. There is always room for improvement and the entire team is striving to bring the resort to its full potential. Tropical gardens beside a great beach is a good start and the Kids Eat Free and F & B vouchers help... More

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which is set in a tropical bushland within easy walking distance of the beach. The restaurant meals are top quality and the fish was one of the best grilled fish meals I have had. Meal sizes are generous. Staff lovely. The resort is quiet and has a relaxing feel. Great base for us... More

Thanks danandman for your review Good feedback is always appreciated - under new management since 1 April, the resort is starting to get a well deserved reputation for the Red Emporer (straight off the trawlers), the suf'n'turf off a local cattle farm with its own butchery, and the food generally. Kids eat free with a paying adult off the a... More

We booked the accommodation via Trivago who said the place was a Mantra resort so we thought it would be really good. When we arrived reception was just closing at just gone 3pm?? The place also looked a bit shabby and not cared for. We were given two $15 vouchers for the restaurant which was nice. When we got to... More

Thanks for your comments Jason C, Reviews are always appreciated. The resort was a Mantra for Blue Water and a Breakfree Resort for Baden combined, and has not been in the Mantra group since 1 September. The booking made was actually for the Breakfree component of their stay or their lead-in grade. We do not have a direct relationship with... More

We checked in on a Friday night after hours, the lovely lady at the restaurant helped us out, we also ordered takeaway meals as the on site restaurant was closing - most amazing meals (surf and turf $28 and just brilliant!!) We had a three bedroom unit, there was make up on the opposite side of my pillow, little bugs... More

Dear Ofsoski We have recently assumed the management of the resort and we are addressing the impact private functions have on guests in terms of access to the restaurant & bar. The bar was open during the day, and became a private function at 5PM. Apologies over he make-up on the pillow slip, and this will be addressed with housekeeping.... More

Got given daily $15 room vouchers for our stay. I wanted a beer but, no staff around the bar to get me one. The facilities are run down. No one eats or drinks here. The golf course is turd. Mould in shower. Drainage issues. Wet patio in rain. Thumb down

Dear John M, Reviews are always appreciated, and this one appears to have been coloured by the inclement weather. There was also a private wedding function on this week-end, however the bar is open from 10.00 am and is always manned, through either reception directly opposite or by F & B staff. As a new management team we are addressing... More

Stayed here with my kids for 3 nights in the Easter holidays, the apartment was nice and clean had everything that we needed. The resort is quiet and relaxing, no one bothered us (just how we like it haha). Staff were nice, was a nice walk along the beach to rainbow, would stay again :)
