This was the worst hostel i stayed in, i spent my last night at a friends house i met in rainbow beach because i didnt want to sleep with cockcroaches and gheckos all night. There is nothing to do in rainbow beach. It has a beach and one road with a few shops so you do rely on your hostel.... More

Book the Fraser Island tour through this hostel! It is the best tour and so worthwhile. Met the best people in our 4x4 and you get a free nights stay after your tour if you book with them so everyone comes back to the hostel and drinks together. Large socialising area with free pool. Drinks are reasonable during happy hour... More

We stayed here for two nights, one before Fraser and one after as part of a package tour with peter pans. Most of the hostels we stayed in up the east coast were to a very high standard. Unfortunately this one didn't come up to the mark. We had private rooms which weren't overly clean, the doors of both the bathroom... More

We stayed for 1 night I a double in a unit. The idea of a until seemed cool but what used to be a kitchen had everything useful ripped out and what was there was dirty, the bathroom oft!! It was stinking of pee, like really stinking and was really dirty too. The communal kitchen was so small for the... More

I stayed here for 4 nights, two nights before fraser and two after. I was actually only supposed to stay for one night after coming back from the island, but since the hostel is such a nice place to hang out with your new friends that you meet on fraser, i decided to stay another night. The rooms are clean... More

This hostel is very nice and friendly. I personally like the kitchen that is completely open by the pool. Another great thing is that they have a little restaurant with delicious food. The rooms are clean and has their own toilets and showers, there is a lot of space in the rooms also. Some nights they have live music at... More

Great place to stay and chill out before and after your Fraser Island trip. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Rooms were kept nice and tidy. The bar had live music as well which is always good and the beer was good value

Stayed here for 2 night, one before and one after Fraser island, and it was okay. the staff could be a little bit more friendly, while they really gave me the feeling that they'd rather not work there. The location is great though. The bus stop for premier and greyhound is 2 minutes away and the trip to Fraser also... More

Checked into our room to discover a cockroach running around, and had a gecko somehow made it's way into our room. The staff were friendly and was a welcoming hostel. There is a problem with flies in the kitchen area, which is quite annoying as you are constantly battling to keep them away from your food. The kitchen towels need... More
