We had a great time just lazing around the farm. Our girl had fun feeding the animals and she is talking about Grandpa John and Grandma Lorna after 2-3 months. We had the best meals we had while in gold coast so its worth paying extra for the dinner.

Lorna, John and family were awesome hosts! Checking in to the farmstay was a breeze. We had 4 adults and a 17 months year old baby. We stayed in the Okotoks suite which was very clean and decent. This was our first experience in a farmstay as we grow up in a city. Baby was very excited seeing all the... More

We stayed here for two nights. The owner is friendly and the place is nice. My kids love feeding the farm animals, watching the peacocks and picking up the pine cones. Highly recommended for families with children.

If you are looking for a true farm stay, I highly recommend Clandulla Cottages. It's just 40 minutes ride from Gold Coast. The farm owners, John and Lorna are very kind and friendly. Their chef, Paris is excellent. We spent three days two nights there last week. Thanks John, Lorna and Paris for their kind hospitality. It's a very unforgettable... More

Can't recommend highly enough. My two boys loved this place, and it was comfortable enough to offer a real escape for the grown ups. The family running it are friendly and welcoming, and a special mention goes to the on site restaurant, which meant home cooked meals to savour on a cold winter evening. A perfect stay!

This is a true farm stay where not only the children benefit but the adults feel the magic of being surrounded by animals that can enjoy interacting with humans. I have honestly never seen animals so happy, it was weird, a cow the size of a car that is greeted with a kiss from John the owner, geese who live... More

Very good place for kids to experience farm animals. This is a very personal place and you would get to know John, Lorna, Eddie and all the farm animals well. It is a place where all the animals are loved and responds to their names. There are sheeps, horses, cows, chicken, turkeys, peacocks, pigs, goose, kangaroo, dog, birds and all... More

This is the closest you will get to authentic Australian hospitality, as if visiting a friend. We initially chose a different farmstay nearer the Gold Coast, but in a series of fortunate events, we ended up at Clandulla instead. And boy, am I glad we found this place. Our host John patiently answered all our questions, let us feed the... More
