Myself my boyfriend and a friend booked two double rooms here. There's three double rooms in total and they are in a separate building to the dorm rooms. However the rooms are just divided by partitions that don't go up to the ceiling so you can hear everything in the next room. Although not the hostels fault entirely It didn't... More

I cannot begin to express my gratitude for Annmarie (receptionists) great hospitality. The staff are always on hand to help even between reception opening hrs. The rooms are spacious so even with the rooms being full you are not all on top of each other. The hostel is very clean and staff are always around cleaning and changing bins to... More

Very clean and comfortable hostel. Free internet, lovely outdoor and indoor chill out areas. Big kitchen. AWESOME staff. Free BBQ is cool if it's on while your there. Would definitely recommend! Loved it here!

My partner, myself and two travelling friends stayed in this hostel. We were picked up from the Greyhound bus stop, even though it's only about 200m, and it was quite quiet at this time so we had a ten bed dorm to the four of us with a shower. The kitchen has a lot of writing on the walls and... More

This hostel has been the best hostel so far in Australia! The staff was amazing and helpful and the atmosphere was great. Big plus is the FREE wifi and laundry! They truly know what a backpacker actually need at this hostel. Some nights the hostel also has a free BBQ which also is highly appreciated by a poor traveler. So... More

Stayed at this hostel because it had the best ratings of any in 1770 and I just thought it wasn't worth it. Pro's - lovely staff, close to the beach, cheap, clean bedding. Cons - bathroom toilet kept flushing all night with the shower dripping, the bathroom wet room also fluded whenever you used it, dirty kitchen and in a... More

I had stayed here before and thought it was a good hostel until I stayed the 2nd time. There was no towels in reception so I had to use a bed sheet, The shower was filthy and the water was freezing cold. We had some guy who wandered into our room at 2am drunk who eventually left. I don't even... More

This is a nice hostel, apparently the dorms are great but I need to leave an honest review about the "private rooms" as they are not private at all! There is 1 door which you have the key for and once you go inside it is one big room split into 3 separate rooms which don't have locks on the... More

One of the best management and staff of a hostel I've met. Really in tuned with what backpackers are looking for shown by the fact they provide free laundry and wifi as well as all kitchen equipment. Rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. Much more welcoming and get to know your name unlike cool bananas where the staff... More

You really should give this hostel a chance, the dorms are spacious, it's great value, there is free wifi, free use washing machines, an adequate kitchen & outdoor dining area & free use of the pool & hot pool at a nearby resort. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach & you can hire bikes for a half day... More
