Visited 1770 as a stopping point between Rainbow Beach and Airlie Beach. Firstly, Location. This place has a great location in terms of nearness to the greyhound bus stop, the shops and the beach etc. Everything is like a 2 minute walks tops. Next, Room. The room I can find no fault with whatsoever. I stayed in an 10 bed... More

Loved Backpackers @ 1770. I initially planned on staying here for 2 nights, but extended for 2 weeks! (If I didn't book my next travels already I would certainly stay wven longer). The staff is super nice, the place is clean, chill and the hostel is the closest one to the beach and shops. Absolutely loved it, miss this place... More

I stayed at the hostel for a whole week with my friend. It was our last week together and we really enjoyed it here. We've met so many cool people and the staff here is awesome. You feel very welcome, the rooms are clean, close to the beach, nice pool and best location of all the hostels here. The staff... More

The central location is the only good part of this backpackers. The rooms have 10 beds and an en suite bathroom with one toilet and shower. Beware of booking the return shuttle to the Premier bus! 3 separate guests asked for the shuttle pick up from the backpackers and we were all told we would be picked up. However at... More

Firstly me and my partner are not picky people we understand you get what you pay for and we hardly expect luxury in a hostel but this place was horrendous. Anyone thinking of stopping in Agnes Water just don't bother, there's nothing there and everything shuts at 8pm except the Tavern which was quite nice. We paid for a private... More

This hostel really is the pitts which is a shame. Stayed in a camper $10 each. One outside shower to share which is made from twigs and is totally see through when showering we had to each hold a towel over the door for each other. Kitchen shut and then not open until 8 annoying as we had to leave... More

Nice, cheap place to stay in Agnes water. Close to the beach and the supermarket. Very friendly staff, free pickup from the bus station and free WiFi. Only thing was that there was only one power source in the room. Nevertheless a great hostel!

This hostel is a good hostel! The second service is so good! They pick you from the bus stop, while its just 5 minutes walking. Free wifi everyday! Free laundry! And sometimes free bbq and more things like that. You can party as long as you want. The eating/drinking place is far away enough from the rooms, so the noise... More

We had a nice chilled out stay here for 2 nights. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable but could get hot at night if door of room wasn't left open. Free wifi, free washing, communal areas and kitchen were all great additions and made this a really nice chilled out stay. Would definitely stay here again. Air con... More
