Enjoyed my stay, welcoming staff and clean dorms and kitchen. It says on the website there are pickups from the greyhound, free WiFi and free washing facilities. We were met at the Greyhound but had to walk as their van had broken, to find there was no wifi and the washing machine has broken. Luckily the staff entertained us and... More

Fairly nice place, good location next to the shops and 10 mins if that from the beach, rooms were enormous plenty of space and nice clean bathrooms. Downsides were the kitchen was crawling with ants literally on every surface, and there were no sponges only smelly cloths to wash stuff up so hardly hygienic. Hardly anyone ever on reception either.... More

Passing through 1770 on the way to airlie with a friend and asked for a twin room here. The receptionist asked us if we Aussie (which we are) then told us there was a no Australians policy. You cannot do this it is RACIST!!! And illegal!!! Imagine if a hotel in Sydney had a no japanese policy!? Would that be... More

The last time we stayed in town was December 2013 and this hostel was ran... More

This was by far one of the best hostels I've stayed at! Great location and atmosphere in the hostel, you feel like you're part of a family, which as a solo traveller was so nice. The facilities are great and clean, the rooms are big and there's a lovely outdoor area to mingle with everybody else! I cannot recommend this... More

Planned to stay here for a night, wound up spending 2 weeks. Awesome place to chill out or party. The staff were really up for a good time and it made for a great atmosphere on the evenings and through the day. The rooms were much larger than the usual hostel cell blocks and the free pool 5 minutes away... More
