The Litchfield Safari camp has lots of shade and is a peaceful place to stay with power and water to be filtered and even an above ground pool. There are only two showers and 3 toilets for men and the ques are for too long. The quality of thse amenities are poor. I advised the camp manager of a light not... More

This is a great caravan site to explore Litchfield National Park as it is central to all locations. Close to Wangi, Cascades, Blythe homestead and Sandy Creek etc. Amenities are a bit in need of updating but adequate. Don looked after us and is quite a character, stay 7 pay for 6 deal was fantastic and gave us time to... More

The three of us opted for a safari tent with ensuite - Very clean and comfortable. When considering the tariff, I reckon you have to appreciate the logistics and the overheads/costs it would take to get all the facilities on site. (water supply/electricity - generator/ plumbing/etc. etc...) The tent was spacious enough for the three of us - beds were... More

Location is great but the price is expensive for what you get . The safari tents are old and have seen better days, at $30 night for the budget tents they were good value but the ensuite tents at $150 night were a bit expensive, however that said the location is great but the rest needs improvements for the price... A great small caravan park in an ideal location; 4 kms away from Wangi Falls and about a km away from the Cascades. We had a great spot. The park has a "restaurant" and you order your meals in the afternoon. Lovely experience. Facilities were clean and close by.

People need to remember it is in the middle of no where, and unlike the City you don't have running water, lights, flushing toilets or Air-conditioning if there is no power. So you will here the dull rumble of a generator so you can have these things. I would think to be expected. Now it does say tents, so don't... More

Location is great but the rest needs improvements for the price they charge. The place is a little like a junk yard. Sea container for a shop and a little shack for the office. An above ground pool that looks like a circus structure and down the back are heaps of junk cars, scrap metal etc etc. There were Dogs... More

It's certainly not fancy - but you're out in the bush and you've left your fancy plasma at home!! Enjoy the birdsong, the bush, the quiet and the great attractions nearby. Cabin/tents available and good grassy powered and non-powered sites. Water tanks made into a swimming pool for a cooling dip, small shop with supplies if you need them. Good... More

Perfect weekend getaway and one of the best kept local secrets. Very close to the beautiful Wongi Falls and an excellent base for exploring Litchfield Park. Well maintained, shaded and peaceful camping groups and very helpful and accommodating staff. Budget/Backpackers accommodation for $30 per night was amazing - can not recommend this highly enough! Very clean and comfortable (all linen... More

We wish we could have stayed here longer. The sites were large and the shade nice. Even though it appeared full it did not seem overrun and crowded like so many places we stayed. The grill was great. There is a store on site as well. The woman who checked us in told us all about the hikes we could... More
