First off, the Seahorse Inn has the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on in a hotel--and my aunt and wife agreed about this. As for the property, it's gorgeous--situated on a nice beach with terrific views. The rooms were very, very clean and looked great. So why the 3 stars? Well, it could have been a bad day and... More

My room was very nice with a balconcy opening out to thur ocean , bar fridge was well stocked and meall down stairs was lovely . A walk on the beach in... More

This was a lovely hotel with all of the thinks which make a comfortable stay. We enjoyed meals which were prepared with love and care. The view was spectacular and the beach was clean and tidy. We enjoyed our stay with the only complaint being a leaking shower and the phone which didn't connect to the reception. Breakfast included a... More

We were extremely happy at the Seahorse Inn and are so glad we booked. After reading some of the picky reviews on here we were a little hesitant, but were thoroughly surprised by this amazing place. Amazing location, stunning hotel, friendly staff. We were in a loft room and it was perfectly fine: nice big window, fabulous bed, quiet and... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our long stay at the Sea Horse Inn. It is wonderfully located with direct and unimpeded views of Two Fold Bay and direct access to the beautiful crescent shaped beach. The grounds were lovely, with a tennis court and outdoor dining and relaxing areas. The cooked food was excellent, with fresh produce from the Inn's large vegie... More

Average service and food but being told to go to your room at 8.30pm as they were "locking up the main area" was the final straw. $220 a night! Find somewhere else to stay because here was the pits. Great locale terrible hotel.

My husband and I were passing through on our way from Melbourne to Sydney and I like to try out different places to stay. Once again, I trusted TripAdvisor and was not disappointed. The hotel has an old-world charm that is often lost in modern places and the setting, on the bay is just magnificent. Our loft room was the... More

Quiet, calm, relaxing and hospitable staff (young fellow) is to be had @ Seahorse Inn although the young blonde girl uses her mobile phone too often!. My partner and I enjoyed having the Inn virtually to ourselevs except for one other couple. The beers aand drinks were reasonable and food was very good! Order the seafood as local seafood is... What an enchanting hotel. Perfectly situated, in a stand alone position, overlooking a bay. Lush lawns lead down to the sea where one can walk along the beach with not another person in sight. So tranquil! Beautifully appointed rooms (ours had a balcony) and two dining options, casual and upmarket. We chose the latter and the food was perfect. We... More

Fabulous old stone hotel right on the bay. History is interesting in the area - there are lots to explore including historic sites like Boyd's tower (used for sighting whales for the whalers) and the old Davidson Whaling station site. Eden is just a short drive, but the charm of this place is its location, great bar and two restaurants.... More
