Unfortunately, this place turned out to be the worst - by far - of a fifteen-night vacation. We got lost trying to find it and when I called for directions I was berated by Lisa for doing so. When we checked in she complained that if I'd booked the room directly she wouldn't have had to pay the fee to... More

On our trip around the Gaspe Peninsula, we spent 1 night at the Auberge du Saumonier Lodge. The house is just beautiful. It is 100 years old and filled with the talents of its owners, Lisa and Eli. Besides being excellent hosts, Lisa is an artist in jewelry, stained glass and painting. Eli makes furniture. They love to chat and relate... More

I was in Gaspe for work June 10 - 12, 2014, and all hotels were booked solid in the downtown, so after researching other accommodations, I came to find Auberge du Saumonier Lodge, and was lucky to book a room at this lovely B&B known primarily for fishermen/ outfitting and guide for , yes, salmon in the 3 different fresh... Our stay with Lisa at Auberge du Saumonier Lodge in Gaspe was one of the highlights of our trip to Quebec!! The in itself is cozy and charming and Lisa's standed glass work fills the rooms--she's VERY talented!! Lisa goes out of her way to make sure your stay is comfortable and a little hint: If you're looking for the... More

My wife and I just completed a motorcycle holiday, where we toured the Gaspé Peninsula. We left Ottawa and traveled to Quebec city on our first day. Day two, we stopped in Matane. Our next stop brought us to this Auberge in Gaspé. We had never stayed at a B&B or lodge, we`ve always stayed in hotels/motels. On our arrival,... More

The Auberge is a nice and cozy B&B with very gracious hosts. We were the only guests on the night we stayed, and our room was impeccable in terms of cleanliness and quietness. Breakfast was abundant and carefully prepared with good ingredients. Lisa, the host, took the time to explain us the trails and activities of Parc Forillion, In fact,... More

When travelling it's easy to find many places that are more the less the same. This is one that is different! It's much easier to find when travelling from Gaspe but it's not that difficult. Once there it feels like a home from home. Ignore any negative comments and go and try it for yourselves. The breakfasts are great and... More

Very warm and friendly atmosphere with gracious hosts and surrounded by beauty and all the comforts of home. Our room was cozy, the bed most restful, in a charming country setting close to Forillion Park and Gaspe. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts while watching hummingbirds at their feeders, bathed in the colours of Lisa's beautiful stained glass.
