Stayed at this place for three nights. Close to everything. Under renos but no noise. Nice balcony overlooking the water. Staff very friendly. There on business so needed a good nights sleep. Very comfortable. Wish I knew where they get there pillows!! More

The hotel is in a terrific location overlooking the bay and is right on top of main street. It has a nice restaurant and bar. The updated rooms are very nice, but the older rooms are below what you would expect for a hotel of this price. The older rooms lack basic amenities, and the shared balcony is very loud.... More

My son and I shared a double room at this early in early July. We had a room with a view of the bay - very nice. The room was clean, fresh towels were plentiful, and the cleaning staff were pleasant and efficient. They left extra coffee for my son and me. There is an outdoor balcony that is accessible... More

We arrived in Gaspé around 9 pm after a long drive from Quebec city, so all we really wanted was a good meal and a good night of sleep. One of the worst travelling experiences. Workers at hotel got drunk, and had a party outside my hotel window. At 4 am, went to complain about noise. Just received rude response from staff. At least an apology would have helped but that was unavailable also. Not good. More

The Commandants is an indoor-corridor, modern, unpretty building set slightly above the main drag in Gaspe. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The staff is bilingual and attentive. The restaurant is good after a day in the spectacular scenery, though unremarkable if you're expecting some interesting French Quebeqois cuisine. More
