We are just finishing a trip seeing as much as we could fit within 2 weeks of Israel from the Dead Sea up to north of the Galil. One of our bookings was at Ohn-Bar Guesthouse, located on the moshav of Amirim. We did not take advantage of all the moshav's amenities such as the vegetarian restaurant, massage, and other... More

We had all too short a stay in this beautiful inn tucked away in Israel's Northern Galilee region. The views were magnificent, and the service, from the fresh fruits and treats that greeted us to the gift that we received when we left, was warm and inviting. All you can ask for in one neat package - Jacuzzi, massage shower,... More

what a lovely change of pace in Israel to land in Amirim to this enchanting cabin on a lush, hillside property overlooking the Kinneret. The hosts were kind, unintrusive, helpful; the cabin had everything we needed and wanted for respite from some otherwise challenging on-the-go travel in Israel, plus a very relaxed vibe among folks in the community... I would... More

The suite was comfortable and beautiful. The sleeping rooms were a good size; kitchenette was perfect for our needs; balcony overlooked the valley, giving beautiful views all day; wonderful walks from the guesthouse, but be prepared for hilly terrain. The hosts are gracious, helpful, and always available. Dining in Amirim is vegetarian/vegan (don't miss breakfast at Dahlia's), but a nearby... More

We spent two nights in the Shachar unit during beautiful February weather. Everything in the unit was just right and made for a very cozy stay. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the view was a lovely treat. The owners went out of their way to help with an internet connection issue. The reasonable prices are a pleasant change. Amirim is... Simply a nice place to be. Rooms are comfortable, views are great. The owners are helpful and gracious. Nearby to Tzefat and Tiberius for better dinning opportunity Spent two nights there and we will go back. We highly recommend this place.

Wonderful place to stay! The views from our balcony of the Kinneret were beautiful, the room was very comfortable, and the owners were very helpful. Of the many places we stayed in Israel during this trip, it was both one of the nicest, and one of the least expensive! Ethan & Rachel

We really enjoyed our stay at this guesthouse in Amirim (which - by the way - is a great village even for meat-eaters). The room was cosy and comfortable and the view and the location was great. Make sure to check out the owners impressing movie collection.

Amirim comes recommended as the only vegan village in the world and as a vegan I was intrigued and excited to visit. Ohn-Bar Guesthouse is built out of wood, in a gorgeous tangle of flowering plants around charming courtyards…..this area, which was once quite barren, has been lovingly developed into a fertile valley. All the residents of this area are... More

We stayed last December, very stuffy room with no windows The entire complex is very crowded and seemed crammed more and more rooms Old carpets on the floor in the living room and in the shower; Bed linens were clean with an unpleasant odor
