Whether it's a break of the surfing kind or simply time to relax and unwind, you'll find this welcoming, ultra modern home a must for those seeking a touch of luxe coupled with the comfort of home right in the heart of Croyde Bay. The Space Just off the beaten track, e11even can be found 'hidden' along a very private, quiet lane. This newly built, ultra modern family home is in the perfect location; nestled in the heart of Croyde Bay village, yet within easy walking distance of local shops, pubs and beach footpath. This unique property is designer lead with an eclectic style. An obviously modern house interior with a sprinkling of old, and a twist of the unusual which combine to add flair and interest for those guests looking for something a little more contemporary. Light filled, clean, spacious and finished to a highly luxurious standard, our boutique styled guest rooms offer 'super king double bed' with ensuite. Our flexible approach to guests means that we're happy to cater for bed and breakfast, brunch or room only to suit your needs. Guest Access With private access to the guest room directly from your parking space, which offers our guests the freedom to come and go at will. Breakfast is served in the main house at an agreed time. Interaction with Guests As I work mostly from home, aside from the school run I'm mostly around during the day to answer questions or be of help where I can The Neighbourhood Nestled in the heart of Croyde with lovely views of the rolling hillside, yet within a few moments walk of the shops where you can pick up your wetsuit, treat yourself to one of 'Ali's' ice creams or stop for an afternoon tea. There's no way you can visit Croyde without popping into the famous 'Thatch' pub, but there's a few more nestled away worth a try and serving wonderful suppers. And of course you can't visit Croyde Bay without a visit to our wonderful beach which is undoubtledly one most popular surfing beaches in North Devon, but a stones throw away there are plenty more to choose from should you fancy a change of scene. If your looking for a day out, there's plenty to visit within 30 minutes, from woolacoombe, Ilfracoombe, Lee, Barnstaple, Bideford and much more. Getting around Regular bus service takes you into neighbouring towns. Other Things to Note As our brand new home is in the final stages of completion the exterior of the house and grounds are still in the process of completion. We can assure our guests that the room itself is completed and to the highest standard, and that any work being carried out externally is taking place when we aren't hosting. To reflect this our rates this season have been discounted by 30%. Small dogs may be considered. We have a dog of our own which is none shedding, therefore amiable to those with allergies, albeit she is kept out of the guest room.

My husband booked us here for 3 nights for my 40th birthday as we love Croyde for a break away! Jo is a wonderful host and made us so welcome! What a stunning place! The decor of the room was beautiful, quirky and really made us feel we were somewhere different, special and unique! The bed is soooo comfortable and every design and lovely detail down to curtains, lamps, cushions, gorgeous gold curtains, magazines, wall art, filter coffee ;) was so well carefully thought out, all these touches were appreciated. Lovely delish fresh scones/cream tea awaited us too! Perfect location in Croyde village and path down to beach around the corner, a 10/15 min walk, perfect! We love Croyde and surrounding beaches. Plenty of places to grab a delish brekkie and fresh coffee around also as well as dinners of course. One of the days the weather was bad with rain BUT we had such a lovely chunk of the day relaxing in the room, reading, watching films ( netflix, amazon channels available) it was perfect and felt like luxury, just what we needed! Georgeham is a few minutes drive away with lovely pub/restaurant called The Rock! We ate there on my birthday (Jo's recommendation) and was fantastic! So all in all I can't praise this place enough and Jo for being so welcoming! Highly recommended, we'll be back! THANKU JO!!!! Clare & Paul x

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of the mid-term school holidays (room only, no breakfast included). The accommodation was a good sized and very stylish and comfortable room attached to the main house. The room had a very comfortable bed (with lovely doona quilt and linen sheets) and an oversized sofa. There was a small walk-in wardrobe which also housed the fridge. We are travelling around the UK on a long trip with 2 large suitcases and there was plenty of space for them. The bathroom ensuite was very small and contained the tea / coffee facilities, storage, hairdryer (very convenient with a mirror there), shower and toilet. The shower was excellent, more than ample hot water and pressure. There was no door to the bathroom area which we thought rather odd and inconvenient - but gives you a good chance to practice your whistling whilst on the toilet. Also, there was a large window in the wall between the bathroom and bedroom which, in addition to the missing door, meant the bedroom was flooded with light if anyone used the toilet at night. Wi-fi was the same internet connection as the main house which was very fast once we sorted out the password to use (although it had a net nanny - no online alcohol shopping for us!). There were blockout blinds fitted on some windows but not all of them, which really defeats the purpose of blockouts - a lot of light flooded the room early in the morning. The room is attached to the main house, and at times we could hear a lot of noise through the bedroom wall. This could have been because the room on the other side was the kitchen area, but you can hear pretty much everything being said. The hosts had children who had friends over and they made quite a bit of noise in the back garden which the room looks onto. It's almost like we were staying with them in the house rather than in separate accommodation. The location in Croyde was great. We didn't use our car once during our stay. Jo had prepared a lovely welcome information sheet which we made good use of. We tried a few of her recommended walks and eateries in the area. As it was school holidays the town was jam packed with people which meant booking ahead for dinner was required. There were a number of breakfast options in the town, we tried a different place on each morning and left a few options untried. Croyde beach is a very easy walk away. Saunton beach is a nice 40 minute walk using the public pathways that start at the end of the lane. The car park was right outside our door (the accommodation has its own entrance). There was a lovely sitting area out front in between the car parking and the room (only really usable in nice weather). The room wasn't serviced during our stay.

We stayed for two nights with our dog at the end of September. e11even is tucked down a small side road so very quiet location but 2 minutes walk to the centre of Croyde and no more than 10 mins to the lovely beach. We had a warm welcome from Jo who explained the necessary bits of the room and also gave some recommendations for places to eat - one of the pubs in Georgeham in particular was very nice - see other review! The room itself is lovely - the decor is beautiful with some great decoration. Its nice and spacious with a lovely big bed which was very comfortable, nice big shower in the shower room, wardrobe area and a very large sofa. There is also a little fridge with fresh milk for tea which is a nice touch. We had bad weather for the two days we were there so we spent one afternoon in the room watching films - there is a good selection of movies on demand on the TV - amazon and such like. The room is part of the main house but you have your own entrance to the side with a small patio area too and table and chairs. We were able to come and go as we pleased without disturbing anyone and likewise we had no disturbance from Jo and family. Parking is right outside. We stayed on a room only basis so can't comment on Jo's breakfasts but again she recommended the best place locally and we found that to be very nice - see other review. We had a very relaxing, enjoyable stay and would stay again next time we visit Croyde.

We booked the whole house for a week, as self catering, we are a family of seven, four adults three children, we are still here off home on saturday, it's a most beautiful house, every room beautifully designed and decorated It has everything you will need . Two fridge freezers , two double dishwashers, tv in almost every room, comfortable beds and pillows , all made up for our arrival, the bathrooms are all differently designed, and unique and beautiful, Great lighting, so well designed, a working computer, speakers in some of the rooms we played music via the Internet... Comfortable seating again all well designed, this place is a work of art. Huge floor to ceiling Windows lots of light, and a pretty snug with tv , comphy seating , and games. The garden has a table and six chairs more chairs in the garden storage, some soft seating on the decking , and a massive bean bag, there is a warm outside shower for washing sand off. And a trampoline .All the family love this house a great experience for us all.

Pauline your kind words bought a tear to my eye! It means so much to us that you have enjoyed our home - we've worked very hard over the last couple of years in designing and building our dream home, and felt the stress and strain in preparing it for the summer lettings to ensure our guests felt it was home from home. Your review has meant a great deal to us, thank you. Safe journey home, Jo and Mark

Great place. Well set up with Internet, TV and DVDs for any poor weather days. Right in town with a 2 min walk to shops etc. no heating, but very modern place built to modern insulated and well sealed standards. We tipped up in a large hire car, which in true Cornish stipe is a little difficult to manoeuvre into the drive. Fantastic selection of breakfast options.

What a fantastic place Jo has. The house is a new build in a grand design with a sparklingly clean room with very comfortable surrounds. The breakfast is great and Jo is a perfect host and very welcoming. We didn't want to stay in a stuffy old b&b with patterned carpets that are so common in coastal areas and this just felt like what a modern experience can be. Highly recommended.

We spent a truly wonderful weekend at this delightful new B&B. The location is great in that you don't even need to get in you car, everything is within walking distance, even the beautiful beach. The room was delightful and very well thought out and we felt truly spoilt with the sumptuous bedding and REALLY comfy bed.Jo clearly has an eye for design and detail. We were totally spoilt with a delicious breakfast and a fun and informative chat about what there is to do in the area. We very much liked having our own entrance so we could come and go easily and even having the deck area for ourselves was a pleasant surprise to relax in. We cannot wait to return and wish Jo and her family all the best with this delightful treasure.

Beautiful b&b, short walk to beach, private own entrance to what can only be described as a large room in a "grand design". the sunny patio for guests is a delight, cannot wait to return and enjoy a cup of tea and some strawberries/scones. Perfect. some great walks very close and the hosts are great. breakfast is a delight served in the wonderful house.
