We planned to stay here for two nights but after the first we moved to a lovely site up the road ,the site is very close to the beach so we thought it would be great,we were wrong the field got more packed than a sardine can and we realisd they emerge mostly large groups of youngsters . The noise... More

We had booked two nights here for a friends get together, we had stayed here before so thought we knew what to expect, although the price had gone up to £35 a night for a couple (quite expensive for a bit of grass!) what we discovered was a night mare, the campsite was full and all tents were crammed in together.... The camp side has a very strict rule to sell alcohol, what I normaly also would approve. But the sales woman in the campside shop made me very upset when I (26) tried to buy some beers and they didnt accept my official (!) swiss ID card to prove my age. They only wanted to see my passport (which I... More

The location of this campsite is excellent; a short walk to the beach and also close to the village. We found the staff to be really friendly and helpful, especially love the manager; he was a diamond who took the time to come around and have a chat with the campers. The showers and toilets were always clean (gold star... More

Amazing place to stay, meters from the beach and the best campsite in Croyde! Toilets and showers are of a good standard, places to wash your wetsuite and milk, cereal and snacks availiable at reception. A younger persons feel to the place maybe with drinking some music and a good atmosphere in the evenings.

We stayed on a busy weekend. The campsite set up itself is great, open fields, good clean toilet and shower block. Beach and village all very close! It would be perfect for a midweek break during a quiet season. We stayed during a busy week and the campsite was very noisy with drunken teenagers crashing about. However, if you didn't... More

Stayed here Aug bank holiday, paid over £300 4a family on a field with no electric, toilets were constantly filthy. The only thing that is good about this site is the location, will not stay here again, wud rather pay extra 2stay in main Ruda camp! Very Disapointing!

Have just got back from a camping trip at Surfer's Paradise in Croyde. It would probably have been ok if we were planning on partying and drinking until sunrise but if you don't fit that criteria - stay away! The tents were crammed together and on the first night drunks were running around with a megaphone at 2am and kicking... More
