Combas Farm is in a secluded valley near to the renowned beaches of Croyde and Putsborough. The rooms are appointed well, and the breakfasts are delicious. It has only a few rooms so the place is homely and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would go back because North Devon is such a lovely area for countryside and beaches.

We have just spent another perfect weekend at Combas Farm and can't wait to return many times again in the future. Over the past 50 years Gwen and John have created a little piece of tranquil heaven nestled deep in a wooded farmland valley between Croyde Bay and Putsborough Beach. If you're looking for high-tech, cutting edge decor and designer... More

Combas Farm is so picturesque with all mod cons ,comfort and a very warm welcome from the hosts Gwen ,John and the girls . We were very impressed with the breakfast menu and it tasted as good as it looked .Close to Croyde and Putsborough sands ,both great beaches .We want to go back soon!

WE celebrated my wife's 50th Birthday at Combas Farm combining the use of the camping fields and the bed and breakfast rooms for friends and family. The farm is a wonderful place to educate young and old how people can mix with ease in a place that is run by truly wonderful hosts. John always has a tale to tell... More

A great little farmhouse B&B, that offers a beautiful location and quick access (if you bring your wellies!) to Croyde town center and the beach is only a 15 minute walk away. Gwen and John couldn't be more welcoming and they encouraged us to ask as many questions as we could think of when we needed info regarding the local... More

We stayed at Combas Farm for a week, arriving home today, 26th June. It's all true, Gwen is a wonderful host. Her 'girls' are lovely too. They all work so well together so that any help or advice you need is provided. Breakfast was 5 star, my husband and I loved the homemade yogurt and compotes, flowers from the garden... More

Very homely with all that you need from a B&B, Gwen is a fantastic host and makes you feel at home right away. Breakfast is great with home made yogurt, cereal, fruit juice and jam made with Gwen's home grown fruit. The garden is beautiful as is the whole area. We would certainly recommend a stay at Combas Farm.

Stayed here overnight while doing the SWCP. Set deep in the countryside with a beautiful garden to sit out in to enjoy tea and cakes supplied by Gwen. She is a delightful host and made us feel so welcome with a wonderful breakfast to set us up for the next day's walking. Martin/Sheila

Thank you for your review. Although stays are brief guests walking the coast path do love a hot shower and a sustaining breakfast which we aim to provide. My "girls" do appreciate recognition of their efforts - Thanks. Maybe a longer stop next time? Gwen More

We stayed at Combas farm last night. We had a very welcoming reception from Gwen with a pot of tea and a lovely homemade fruit cake, in a besutiful English garden. Our room was very comfortable with a bathroom that a big city hotel would be proud of. 8 minutes walk down a country lane to a local pub who... More

Travelling as a group of 3 old schools friends on a walking tour on Devon this was a real find. A super welcome, comfortable and cosy rooms and real character in every aspect. This is a great stop for both atmosphere and comfort.
