Thank you Gwen, John , and staff for a lovely few days away from it all! Undoubtedly helped by the weather, (but as Gwen says, it hardly ever rains in the daytime at Combas Farm!), we walked to the beach nearly every day and enjoyed the sand and surf. Fuelled by as much of the tasty breakfast as we could... More

Thank you Gwen and John for such a wonderful stay in your beautiful quaint home and garden. Thanks to Jackie and Lottie for all they did to make our stay and breakfasts so comfortable. We were welcomed by Gwen with her tea pot and to die for homemade fruit cake in her wonderful garden. We missed the wisteria but, what... More

From the moment we stepped onto Combas farm we were made to feel welcome. Our journey to get there was 4.5 hours in the car, so we were glad of the tea and cake we were given on arrival. The gardens are impressive to say the least, including the biggest bay tree I think I have ever seen. Gwen and... More

We have only camped at Combas Farm but look forward to our yearly trip. The shower fascilities are top quality since the New shower block has been renovated. We camp on nearby natural field's that are beautiful and peacful and never overcrowded. Having the luxury of an amazing B&B too means my Mother can join the family this year and... More

The kids and us loved our 2 night stay here. Started off with tea on the lawn, included excellent breakfasts to set you up for the day and you finish in a lovely cosy room with views over the gorgeous garden and sounds of the countryside - the boys loved their little 'shed'!

Thank you Gwen and John for such a relaxing stay in your beautiful home. Thanks to Jackie too for all she did to make our stay so comfortable. On arrival Gwen made us welcome by serving tea and delicious homemade fruit cake in her beautiful garden. The wisteria clad farmhouse was a picture and we enjoyed watching the numerous species... After following signs & directions down narrow country lanes, we arrived at this rustic Devon farmhouse just after 3 o'clock, expecting to merely check in before heading back out to nearby Croyde in search of our evening meal. Walking from the "car park" behind the barn to the entry gate into the front garden, initial indications led us to believe... More

Combas farm is a lovely old fashioned B and B with a modern approach to hospitality and customer service. It's a working farm set in a beautiful location midway between Croyde and Puttsborough beaches. The welcome is warm and the owners go out of their way to make you feel at home. The facilities are excellent as well and include... More

Marion and I stayed overnight at Combas Farm B&B as part of our quest to walk the South West coastal footpath. It's tucked away down a farm track, yet close to the villages of Croyde and Putsborough. The welcome was as warm as the weather - and the sun shone! The room was comfortable and nicely furnished; the breakfast was... More

We have stayed at Combas Farm several times. Very comfortable, quiet location. Excellent breakfast. Helpful and friendly hosts. Excellent location near beach, walking trails, pubs and good restaurants. Near the lovely villages of Georgeham and Croyde.
