Chose this hotel due to the website and easy location via Ryanair(Girona).We were shocked when we arrived as the area is terrible and there is absolutely no land with the hotel.It is basically squashed between other cheap hotels(though the exterior of the Alva is not better than others).On arrival they do a smart thing and bribe the kids with a... more

What an enigma! This hotel has the best of everthing and is an interior designers dream. The room was superb and the service excellent. We have stayed in some of the best hotels in the world and this one rates really highly. But, why oh why did they build it here?
