Stayed here as part of a larger group of ladies, celebrating a hen weekend in June. I have to admit, this was not my choice (my sister's) and after checking it out, I was pretty shocked. I didn't realise it was possible to get a 1 star hotel!! As someone who can't do without creature comforts, I pretty much resigned... More

I chose to stay at Hotel Maeva after looking for a holiday in Spain on a tight budget. The room and Hotel are basic and clean. There's a small TV in the room, a lift which is good if you have difficulty with stairs. A very reasonable hotel for 9 day at 221 euros including flight. It belies it's 1... More

The location of Maeva literally cannot be beaten. It's situated in prime Lloret territory, only metres from the beach, and never no more than 5 mins walk in any direction from almost everything that the (small) resort of Lloret has to offer. The hotel is slightly dated, but does not feel 'run down', more like quaint and independent (which it... More

As we arrived we were welcomed by the man at reception, very warm welcome by the way and check-in was pretty quick. However we were disappointed as our request wasn't attended (front sea view room) but speaking with the owner she said that she never got the request as the holiday website didn't give her this details and that she... We were looking for a cheap break so weren't disappointed. Hotel is in a great location, a friendly family run establishment but very basic. We asked for a room with seaview and we got what we requested, however windows are single glazed so if you're after a quiet night it's not the place for you, rather noisy all night long... More

Staff were very polite. If checking in, make sure you write out your name though 'cause we were waiting outside for 3 hours because the guy on rec' didn't know how to read our names on the reservation and thought we just wanted a room for the night. Not very good when youv'e had a late flight. Once we got... More

We booked 3 rooms. 1 for my disabled dad and mum. Got a lovely big room on second floor with sea views. Daughters got a room on 5th floor also with sea views from side and we got duplicate of parents room on 4th floor, slightly smaller. The rooms are very basic, however there is a couple of chairs where... More

Good plentiful European breakfast, constantly replenished. Very comfortable en suite bedrooms with TV including British channels. Run by a very charming and helpful Spanish family who are experienced hoteliers and speak good English. Reception manned 24 hours.. Clean towels daily and beds changed twice weekly.. Surrounded by every possible type of restaurant, shops, chemists and a supermarket.. Literally across the... More
