Recommended! Very nice apartments in the old town Trapani. Room was spacious, stylish and clean. We arrived late, and the reception was closed. However, there was a personal note left for us with a phone number to contact- and just after few minutes waiting the receptionist arrived and we could check in. There is no restaurant at the apartments (and... More

This was the third place we have stayed in in Trapani and we definitely liked it best of the three. We had a nice, well-appointed room on the fourth (top) floor, right by the roof terrace and specially appreciated the little kitchenette. Also appreciated the fact that reception is open at set hours rather than our having to call and... More

This place I could really recommend. We had no place to live and they help us and show us the rooms before we boooked. Everybody is so friendly at the hotel. It's clean and silent. It's very nere the port and busses. We forgot our cellphone att the hotel when we left to go home to Sweden and Vanessa was... More

Great location for walking the old city. Very friendly reception staff with lots of information about parking, ferries, etc. Elevator goes to the 3rd floor, but our accommodation was on the 4th floor. U shaped narrow stairway to upper floor. Elevator is for ‘freight’ and very slow, but do-able. Our unit had basic kitchen area – sink, two burner cooktop,... More

The staff were extremely friendly & very helpful - the taxi they arranged to take us back to the airport was cheaper than the one we got from the airport. The bed was very comfortable & the bathroom modern. The roof terrace was lovely. This hotel is situated in a lovely old building near shops & restaurants but in a... More

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very stylish and bed was very comfortable. Lovely bathroom. Good airconditioning. Great location as we arrived by bus from Palermo & went by bus to Trapani airport & bus station only short walk away. Good local restaurants and shopping. We only stayed one night but would definately stay here again.

Staff here were great- very helpful and friendly, and offered little extras like whipping up a coffee for us without us asking, and offered gelato for our young son. Hotel is in a good position also. The lobby provides a feeling of traditional charm. This however is completely completely out of kilter with the rooms, which are a bit characterless.... More

Although staff were pleasant and prompt when I arrived, the apartment was disappointing. I was under the impression I would have a balcony as described. Instead, I had a studio literally right next to the front door on the first floor. I had to deal with the noise of late guests and street traffic. No bars on the exterior, so... More

The appartment was modern and clean and fully equiped to enjoy our stay. We were 4 people and had 1 sofa bed and 1 separate bedroom, a bathroom with rainshower, free Wifi and 2 flatscreen tv's. Upon arrival they give you the information you need to get acquainted with the town before you set off.We were here for 4 nights... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Palazzo dei Corsari was born from the renovation of an historical building dating back to the 16th century, situated in the heart of the historical city center of Trapani.Il Palazzo, due to its central location, has been inhabited for centuries by shipowners, merchants and privateers, and it still preserves many traces of its ancient history: the stone staircase, exposed beams, windows and arches. The apartments at guests' disposal, derived from the restructuring of yesteryear, are arranged on three floors (including the ground floor) and are distinguished by their size and comfort (sea view, balcony, etc.). To access the upper floors you can also take advantage of an approved lift for the disabled. On the fourth floor, available to all guests, there is a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea and the Church of San Francesco. ... more   less
