The location of this hotel is great - just by the ancient fish market (no longer in use) on the old city wall overlooking the sea. The rooms are spacious and bright. Nice bathrooms with good showers. Breakfasts are served in the small bar area that flows on to the roof terrace with a good choice of cereals, breads, cakes,... More

A little hard to find by car, but a great location in the old part of town. Property was very clean and well organized. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A very good place to stay in Trapini. Parking for car is on city street just down the road. Room and bathroom were both good.

This hotel is excellent. Location is perfect for exploring Trapani, which is a lively and entertaining city. Food in Trapani is the best in Sicily and the hotel provides excellent recommendations. The staff are great! Highly recommended by someone who is particular about hotels.

Residence La Gancia has great location. However, the problem is your Garmin will lead you through the restricted traffic areas in the city center and you'll get really frustrated trying to find that single route to get to your destination. Yes there is free WiFi but it's not very reliable nor fast. There is street parking nearby - you need... More

We stayed two nights just after Easter. The hotel was recommended by a Sicilian tour operator. Three of us ( a couple and a single) shared a junior suite-type of accommodation that had a pullout bed in a separate room with a door. The renovation of the old building is unique and features glass floors and contemporary lighting and furnishings.... More

I stayed at the Residence La Gancia for 2 nights as part of a Rick Steves tour. I was in room 103, one floor up from reception. The room was huge, with a nice, comfortable bed, storage space, breakfast table & 4 chairs, sofa bed, large bathroom and large shower. The room was tastefully decorated, very quiet and was reasonably... More

We stayed here for two nights on a Rick Steves tour. The quality of the rooms and the breakfast is very high. The recent renovation is very stylish and comfortable. One extra is the lovely top-floor terrace for breakfast or drinks.

Stayed over Easter'15 to see and photograph the famous processions. Perfect location, room big and comfortable with great big bathroom. Breakfast/ Bar area on the roof nicely done. Good Italian/Sicillian breakfast on offer. All staff friendly and professional. All in all a great experience and I recommend this hotel without any ifs or buts.

As the review title says, the location is most ideal. Very nice rooms with a cozy sitting area. Rooftop bar and restaurant with gorgeous views of the city coastline. Staff are friendly and customer service motivated.
