We spent 9 days in Trapani and surrounding area. The hotel personnel was always available to help us whether looking for information, transportation or bath towels to carry-over the beach. Reallybvery friendly. On the surroundings the best beaches were a bit far away, but splendid. I liked particularly San Vito lo capo and the island Favigagna. If you go to... More

We stayed here for the last 2 nights of our Sicily tour. Firstly, we arrived by ferry from Favignana and simply walked up via Torre Arsa, from one side of the peninsula to the other. We expected the hotel to be easy to spot at the top of the street but found ourselves wandering around a bit, even with the... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was bliss. We had an ocean front room and the views, breezes and sounds of small crashing waves was just heaven. The room is huge, as is the bathroom. Great wifi and air conditioning. The breakfast was up on a roof top terrace and was fresh and light with great options and... More

This was by far the best hotel we stayed in during our travels in Italy. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and reasonably priced (when booking, if possible, add the daily breakfast) They give you beach towels, so you don't have to pack any and they recommend the best beaches. There is no hotel-owned parking.... More

This property is on the waterfront of Trapani at the site of the old fish market. Only renovated five years ago the staff were so kind and helpful to us. We were a little needy as our luggage had gone astray coming to Sicily. We stayed in a studio which was roomy and comfortable ,especially as we had no luggage.... More

Residence La Gancia is the perfect place to stay in Trapani. The staff is friendly, considerate, and helped to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms are lovely and those with a sea view are exceptional. The hotel is perfectly situated in a scenic area near the sea and town. We hope to stay there again soon!

Biggest plus was the location and the sea view. It was comfortable and ok to stay for few days. It offers a free parking in the area, which is a plus in Trapani. It could use some refreshing - some parts of the apartment could be cleaned up a bit or renovated, but it wasn't bad either. Mainly small things.... More

My third visit to La Gancia and it was every bit as good as I remember. Ideally placed with the sea across the road. The staff, without exception, are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is spotless, with comfortable rooms and furniture. The breakfast on the roof terrace that doubles as a bar in the evening, is delightful. What more can... More

We are seasoned travelers and stayed three nights at LaGancia in Trapani, a lovely and comfortable boutique hotel spectacularly located along a stunning waterfront. The rooms were modern and quite comfortable and the staff was uniformly gracious and engaging. The only drawback is the lack of a kitchen but there are plenty of nearby places and also an adequate cooking... More
