Good hotel ( room wise ) quiet and relaxing just outside trapani, but and it's a major but, the food was the worst we got around the city and with a name such as gastronomica you except something better, the food was just bad and the breakfast was horrible, rotten fruit, very hard cake, and cheese and salami not in... Choose here for 1 night as we were arriving on a late flight and being only 20 mins by car from the airport, at the foot of Erice and easy enough to continue on our way to San Vito lo Capo. Nothing much in the immediate area even to eat and drink and on the outskirts of Trapani although the... More

We stayed one night at this hotel & had a great experience. The whole compound is rather small which makes it feel very homey. The staff were very nice & helpful. Rooms are a bit small very very cozy & comfortable. The food was some of the best I had in Sicily. Our dinner had about 15 different items all... More

This hotel is the perfect pied-a-terre to visit the area around Trapani. Location wise, it is close to the city near a block of flats at the foot of Mount Erice. Once you enter you forget all the hustle and bustle around you and submerge yourself into it's tranquillity. It is not a big complex as it houses the rooms... More

Great location, handy to the autostrada and roads to Erice and other local attractions, airports in Trapani and Palermo (45 minutes). Warm welcome, large and tastefully, minimalist, decorated rooms with large bathrooms. We were there two nights and dined very well, on locally sourced produce - so well that we asked for, and were given recipes. We'd recommend it as... More

We booked this for an overnight stay en route to Siracusa after flying into Trapani. As we did not know how long it would take to get there we booked dinner in advance by email and had a quick and friendly response. It was easy to get to (about 20 mins from the airport) and not too difficult to find... More

We spent only one night in this hotel but I really liked it. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was very polite (not always common in Sicily according to our experience) and the reception lady spoke very good English. The value was also good as compared to other accommodation we stayed in during our Sicilian tour.... More

A wonderful place to chill, even though the temperature was in the thirties. Enjoyed a great 4 course meal at our own table set up outside, with cloths glassware, and candles. Room was spacious, and clean.

We stayed for two nights on our Sicily trip. We arrived late and the host was really friendly to call the local pizzeria to serve us a meal. They even opened the gastronomica restaurant (which was closed) for us to eat and enjoy a local wine. Great service! Rooms are well looked after and clean. The restaurant serves a nice... More

pleasant reception staff and nicely modernised rooms, unfortunately they couldnt get our heating working and instead of offering us an alternative room left us to freeze during the night. the thermostat on my phone was telling me it was 6°C. We had a meal in the "restaurant", expecting great things with a name with gastronomica in it, we were sorely... More
