One of the main points of staying in a hotel is to get a reasonable night's sleep. I did not get one good night's sleep - mainly down to the really uncomfortable beds. Thin wooden slats, covered by a mattress no more than three inches thick, do not make a comfortable bed - nowhere for shoulders and hips to go... More

We stayed here in one of the Timeshare rooms, room 205. The room overlooked the Biergarten and had a pleasant balcony. We weren't disturbed by noise from the garden (the weather kept people out of it most of the time!). Our room had a small kitchen area but only had a sink and a useful fridge. It had a seating... Stayed here 3 years ago and really liked the hotel saying we would return when next staying in the area. However, we were a bit disappointed. Hotel looking a bit tired now. Eg curtain missing, balcony floor covering torn. Pool is good but really a bit too cold. Breakfast was good. Nice garden area but needs a bit of attention.... More

This was not a cozy hotel as I had hoped. It was run-down, outdated and dark inside our room. The shower head would not stay in place when showering. Not a big deal, but no wifi here. The breakfast was big and good. The view was also nice. There was not much to do around the hotel, but dinner at... More

My family and I stayed at Quellenhof for two nights this month. The hotel is within a couple minutes drive to the Zugspitze Bahnhof and the "downtown" walking area of Garmish. The hotel has a beautiful swimming area with steam relaxing areas as well as a huge sauna. The room was very comfortable and if lucky enough to be on... More

My husband and I along with our two daughters travelled to Grainau on a short five day ski break. We flew Ryanair to Memmingen in Germany and hired a car. The flight costs were low as we were doing the trip on a budget. The hotel was as described on the website and we had booked a two bedroomed apartment which... More

We had a huge apartment with a wonderful view over the mountain range. Maid service every day and lovely, friendly staff. However we thought that breakfast was very expensive for what was available. I would recommend you check out the bakeries in Garmish for cheap, delicious, huge croissents and coffee at less than quarter of the hotel price. All in... More

This 3 star set at the foot of the Alps is lovely. The rooms are spacious, the bath hot and the beds comfy. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was generous and had a nice variety of hot and cold foods. We ate at the restaurant in the evening as well and found it tasty and... More

Three adults stayed here for five nights in September. Check in was efficient, I did ask if it was possible to upgrade to an apt. with a kitchenette. They said one was not available. We spoke no Germany but we were able to communicate our basic needs. Speaking Germany would have been helpful for us. I had booked this through... More

It is difficult to find a hotel with better view on Zugspitze mountain from private balcony! Perfrect location and great service giving a feeling of "Gemuetlichkeit". Either sitting on private balcony or swimming in the indoor pool or enjoying a dinner in the garden - you can admire the view over Zugspitze! Add fabulous freakfast, sauna, private parking, good location... More
