Luxury international standard close to the new chinese vineyards. Probably one best place in Yinchuan to stay if you are looking for international standard. Gymnasium, pool, restaurants, bar, large room, excellent service. May be not the ideal way to experience chinese culture, but very good place to stay in China.

The Kempinski Yinchuan Hotel sets the standard in Ningxia Province for a true luxury hotel experience. This is a beautifully built and well appointed property with all the amenities you would expect of a Kempinski. The surprise is that it sits in a City that is still small by Chinese standards but which is growing fast and is at the... More

We stayed at the Kempinski recently and were very happy. The rooms are large and well fitted out, the breakfast and dinner were excellent and the staff were friendly and attentive. It is in the new part of town but the highly recommended Ningxia museum is within walking distance

As others have noted, the Kempinski is one of very few Yinchuan hotels in its category. Open for nearly four years, the hotel has found its "sweet spot" - the service glitches that often plague new hotels have been resolved, but the hotel doesn't feel run-down or tired. Yinchuan is sprawling, with and the urban core is less dense than... More

I stayed here for 5 days on a recent business trip and was quite delighted with this hotel. The service was exquisite, with an obviously well-trained staff that seemed happy to see you each day and eager to help with any request. My room was large and beautifully decorated, and had a welcome bowl of fruit. The warm robe, slippers... More

The room was hot in the night. I hanged room service menu out of my room door, one hour later, their stuff knocked my door while I almost asleep, asked whether it was me ordered room service of next day's breakfast. The wifi was trouble, hardly to capture signal in the room. What else? - they had bed side table... More

I stayed at the Kempinski on two separate nights, once on the way into Ningxia and the other on the way out. There isn’t else much available in Yinchuan at this star-rating so if you’re spoilt for comfort this is your only choice. The hotel is located in the centre of town and is therefore very convenient for business. As... More

I stayed in this hotel for two nights during business visit in town. Hotel is praised by locals as best in town, and I can believe it. It is modern, nicely designed with very spacious public areas and spacious, modern and comfortable rooms. Room has all necessary amenities in it. WiFi in room is free but spotty. Cable connection is... More

The hotel locates in the center of the new developed part of the city where all the important government agencies, modern shopping malls, and new office buildings locate. So, it's convenient for business traveler to stay. Of course, it's still comfortable to go to the old parts as the city is not big and it takes only a few minutes... More

I would give 3.5 stars but since that's not possible, I just rounded it up to 4. I stayed here in July 2011 (I chose 2012 because it wont let me chose 2011 any more). My father lived in Yinchuan for 7 years, while the rest of the family was located in Beijing (due to a German and couple of... More
