I stayed here for three nights while visiting Zhangjiajie on a solo trip. The hotel is very nice and in a perfect location very close to the entrance gate to Zhangjiajie National Park. My room was of a very good standard - tidy, clean, and had all the amenities I needed and expected. I had a lovely balcony and the... More

The hotel ground covered a large area that consisted of multiply areas. Hunan Provence law lists that hotels must charge fee for shampoo and other bathroom amenities. Thus they have a large container like soap so bring your own if your not comfortable. However the shower drain had a problem and drained slowly. The balcony was cool however the balcony... More

My first night was in a room right next door to a road which is being built. I admire the work ethic of the Chinese. That heavy machinery worked all night long! The next day I was moved to another room, upon request, with assistance of the tour guide - no English speaking staff. This time on the ground floor.... More

Listed as 4 stars by Chinese standards but more of a 3 star. Fairly comfortable room, bathroom clean but carpet looked dirty and stained. Only 1 English TV channel on cable tv (CCTV news, if I remember correctly) but that was provided you either figured out how to operate the receiver box and the remote control (instructions all in Chinese!)... Certainly not a 4 star hotel! Not sure what '4 star hotel' mean in China, however: -shower drain was clogged and shower became a plunge pool every shower -toilet paper holder wasn't working and toilet paper supplied wasn't sufficient -the facial tissue box provided had an initiated toilet paper roll, even when they replaced it after we finished the first... The hotel was quite nice. Nothing astonishing but certainly nice. The room was clean, the a/c worked well. The showers etc were good. There was a bit of damp on one wall. There was also a 8mm gap when the balcony door was shut that usually I wouldn't care about, but when you don't want mosquitos entering the room, you... More

This traditional hotel with resort style was situated in the heart of Zhangjiajie. Walking distance to the shopping area for this lovely city. Room was spacious to comfort our 3 nights stay with fully equipped for 4 stars hotel. Free wifi was only provided at the lobby area. Breakfast was the only thing that unbearable for my stay, but overall... More

Our room at this hotel was arranged by the NEXUS Tour group operated in the San Francisco Area. The tour agency told us that this is a 4 Star hotel. As we arrived at the location, the hotel looks good from outside and as soon as we checked in our room we were told that they are not providing Soap... More

It begins that the hotel has no lift', the bath towels were of very thin cloth and the breakfast room and food were very poor. Mention that the hotel sells itself as a four stars hotel and we did not see even one star.

This hotel is big and well designed .. it fits so well in this picturesque area. The hotel grounds area a pleasure to be in as the landscaping and mountainous backdrop all marry up. If you are a foreigner to China, typically the language barrier will impact almost all interaction. Funny to see so many Korean products in the hotel... More
