Stayed here 1 night pre & 2 nights post tour. From the outside & on paper it was very impresive. The room offered as part of the tour group was so bad that my wife literally cried & refuse to stay. Went to the reception 4 times complaining of the horrible bath room condition - mouldy grout, flaking paint, dirty... More

Very nice hotel for the price. Located on the main drag of Hengyang, accessible to mostly every major transportation, restaurants, shops and banks. The only problem is the noise from car horns from the street until 4am and firecrackers popping until the wee hours early mornings. Rooms overlooking the center courtyard are a lot quieter. A little outdated but good... More

The hotel is not that bad, located close proximity to the town. Unfortunately the services are not that good. No one can speak english. The buffet spread is sad. The room is plain, nothing to shout about. But I personally love the rain shower though.

The check in will be a nightmare if you don't speak Chinese as none of the front desk personnel speak any English. I booked through CTrip but when I checked in, they said I didn't have a reservation, however, when I showed my CTrip confirmation printout, they said they will give me a better rate. I was given a room... More

The hotel not very far from the airport. Safe time with the traffic in Changsa. The room is nice but small compare to another hotel in changsa. In the afternoon not far from the hotel there is food stall you can try when hungry. Breakfast here is not good. Choose upper level room because there is karaoke in the hotel... More

We stayed here during our trip to adopt our son. The staff was very welcoming and the lobby is impressive! Rooms are a little dated, but very functional and mostly clean. The breakfast buffet was amazing and delicious. There is a convenience store and bakery within walking distance. Not many other eating options close by. The Food Street in the... More

It was morning when me and my mom went to the lobby with elevator but suddenly it stopped. The door opened a little bit but it faced a wall(between a floor with the other one) then it took us to the 3rd floors. It's the best hotel I stayed in China but they have to take care that elevator.

My hubby and I stayed overnight at this hotel after arriving from Hong Kong on 7/3/14 to join a tour visiting the Hunan national park the following morning. Hotel foyer is massive to cater for big tour groups but room is far from the front desk so not easy if you’ve a few pieces of luggage. We returned to stay... More

Stayed in Huatian Hotel for the 2nd time recently. The service levels are spectacular - you get escorted wherever you go. The restaurants were as good as 10 years ago and the public areas were all beautifully kept and looking pretty for Christmas. The Food Street restaurant is a particular delight and is also popular with local families as it... More

The building and rooms "look OK" but I would NOT recommend you to choose this place. I have stayed here more than 10 years ago but nothing has changed (except their inflated room charge) (1) Facilities are way too old. (2) It took the receptionists 5 seconds to say "left side" in English after taking 10 minutes for check-in procedure.... More
