Actually, it is a member of the Marriot Group. Shunde is famous for food, esp sweet food. We had suggestion from the reception. Within walking distance, we found one sweet food restaurant and tried the double-skin milk. It was pretty delicious. A kind of magic, and couldn't figure out how they make it. This is an extremely nice hotel by American standards. It was recently totally remodeled. My only complaint is a lack of English-speaking staff, as this hotel is supposed is billed as an international hotel and is geared towards traveling businessmen.
