We stayed in tar tassa for 2 nights after coming from marakesh. It was the perfect getaway from the busy city and I'll definitely be going back. It is not cheap but that's because it's in the middle of nowhere and it's probably really difficult to maintain a constant supply of provisions by charging cost price. I would recommend bringing... Prices at Dar Tassa are not cheap, coupled with an almost "Faulty Towers" experience I would describe the accommodation as hostel like. The airport pick-up & room were fine, but the room was never serviced and sheets not changed. At one point there was no water, then no hot water. The breakfast was dreadful, I have visited Morocco 7 times... More

I can't say enough about how wonderful a stay we had. The views are gorgeous, walks are beautiful, and the staff at Dar Tassa is beyond terrific. Hamid was an incredible host, helping in so many ways, and arranging cooking lessons, a Berber baking demonstration, hikes, and much more. Mohammed and Fatima were wonderful hosts too. And all the food... More

Dar Tassa was the beginning of our honeymoon and we couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and leave all the thoughts about home and work behind. This place really exemplifies Berber hospitality. Hamid and Mohammed showed us around and were very willing to chat and help. We did a cooking workshop which was great because we got... More

My friend and I went to the Dar Tassa Guesthouse for an afternoon and it was amazing experience. The guesthouse provides a beautiful, sweeping view of the Atlas Mountains, which was only enhanced by the kindness of the staff. One of the guesthouse's tour guides, Hamid, made my friend and I's afternoon stay an incredibly memorable experience. He showed us... More

I spent a couple of nights here in between staying in Marrakech. This was a wonderful respite from the relentless city. The hotel and rooms are very pleasant, and the rooftop terrace has one of the very best views ever. It is located in a small Berber village without many amenities for tourists, but the hotel itself provides great food.... More

Its perfect. Firstly the hosts are very welcoming and secondly the views are stunning, thirdly the rooms are extremely comfortable (i was upgraded for free and had already got a bargain deal) and fourthly the food is fantastic. Honestly what more do you need. Im used to staying in hostels so for me this is real luxuary but surely for... More

Dar Tassa came at the end of an extremely long and frustrating journey, but it was worth it in the end! Great service in a truly gorgeous location. The rooms were excellent and whilst a little pricey the food was great. Having been trapped by the heavy rains we spent a day relaxing in the main communal area, and it... More

My husband and I spent 3 wonderful nights at Dar Tassa. It is perfectly situated in a valley offering you a fabulous view of the nearby town and the more distant mountains. Another bonus is its proximity to Tin Mal - a 1.5hr drive on the stunning Tizi N'test highway. Mohammed, the face of Dar Tassa, was very welcoming and... More

we were at Dar Tassa with friends for one night after staying in their "sister" property Riad Africa in Marrakech. It's an interesting last few km's to get there, and the view from the terraces is lovely. We had a superior room (double and single beds) with a decent bathroom...plenty of hot water and a working bath! Simply and brightly... More
