This review is based on an 8 night Moroccan trip. I stayed for 3 nights. My immediate impression at the friendly reception was that this was a dated property.Walking through into the garden was a revelation after the drive up from Marrakech through arid & barren countryside (apart from the riverside) - very well maintained, lush and full of colour... With 25 hectares of grounds and lots of very high quality bedroom suites contained within them, when we checked in for one night at the end of an Atlas trek, it seemed our party comprised four of a grand total of just six guests in the entire hotel. OK, so breakfast didn't start to appear until well after the advertised... More

The grounds of this hotel are spectacular, filled with beautiful flowers, fruit trees and cactus. Walking around, you feel like you're in paradise. Our large suite was in a separate building on the property. While the furnishings were a bit dated, the bathroom was totally up to date. The pool area is lovely and offers beautiful views of the surrounding... More

The grounds are gorgeous . The rooms are tasteful and cleverly Moroccan. Spotless and excellent facilities . The food is imaginative and staff provide first rate service . Overall a difficult package to beat. If in area this is where to stay.

Just returned from another visit to one of our favourite places in Morocco (actually anywhere). We were looked after so well as always and enjoyed some fabulous food and the ever welcoming staff. The gardens were a delight and stroll around is a must particularly at this time of year. Thanks to Nabil and all his team for making our... More

We started from this hotel on our 3hr horse riding tour of the mountains. The tour was fab with little Arab Berber cross stallions! The horses were good for experienced riders but you do have to know how to ride! The scenery was spectacular, trotting through Berber villages and the red mountains, enabling you to experience the real Atlas Mountains,... More

This is the most amazing hotel. It has stunning gardens and it is a delight to swim in the pool whilst looking at the snow covered Atlas Mountains above you. The owner is welcoming and the staff cannot do enough to help. We loved it and enjoyed walking around the estate.

Arrived at the hotel after a 5 hour road trip from Agadir over the stunning Atlas mountains - including the Tiz'n'Test pass - challenge for the hire car but we made it! Stopped at Taroudant on the way but rather hot for sight seeing. Feel there must be a story behind the hotel as once upon a time it must... More

We stayed at La Roseraie for two nights with our two teenage daughters. It is a magical place with the most beautiful roses and gardens overlooked by the Atlas Mountains. We must have arrived at a quiet time as we were the only guests apart from one other couple which was a bit strange! We were disappointed to learn that... More

If waking up to the smell of roses drifting into your Moroccan chic bedroom, followed by a refreshing swim in the gorgeous swimming pool and rewarded with deliciously cooked eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice is how you would like to start your holiday then La Roseraie is your place! Not only is it breath takingly beautiful from every pocket... More
