My wife and I had planned a trip to the Rocky Mount, NC area. I booked reservations for two nights through Expedia, which had given this hotel a two-star rating. We arrived mid afternoon on a hot, humid day to find that the lobby was not air-conditioned. The carpeting was wrinkled and the hotel had a funky odor. We checked... More

My family and I were on our way to Georgia and Rocky Mount was about 1/2 way. I picked this motel because of the price and so-called accomadations. I pulled in and thought 'what a dump'. The lobby was hot (no AC?) and the clerk was on the phone, chatting. We got to our room and looked out the window-there... More

My husband's family recently had a family event where the majority of the family was to be staying at this hotel (if that is what you want to call it). Upon our arrival the entrance didn't appear too bad and the front desk attendant was for the most part personable. Here are a list of negatives that we discovered upon... More

I needed a room close to Tarboro to attend a funeral. Found this place on the Net. I told the clerk I needed a late check out around 4 o’clock she said, “no problem”, would make a note of it. I told her I would pay a little extra to get it. Upon getting the room, it had no shower... More

We stopped on Saturday March 18, 2006 at around 10:00. The lady at the front desk couldn't be any nicer. She provided great service and jumped to help us. We had two adults and three children in our room and when she found out one of the kid's was going to sleep on the floor she ran to get us... More

Avoid at all costs. This place is super weird. It was advertised in the coupon book given out by the N C Travel & Tourist as a Quality Inn with a restaurant, bar and deluxe breakfast (complimentary!) When we arrived we had a real problem finding it, since nobody told us it had changed to a Rodeway Inn--Oh, would that... More

I and a traveling companion (both women) arrived about 8:30 pm. The parking lot is dark, overgrown with weeds and cracked pavement. Hallway smelled like urine and the rooms were drab and "felt" grungy. Like the previous reviewer, we too found the outside doors propped open, which made us feel very unsafe. Hotel staff (poorly dressed, I might add) were... More

Very upset with the stay and service. We were traveling south and needed a place to sleep late at night. The side doors to the facility do not lock, anyone has access. The hallways smelled musty. The room smelled worse. The carpets were damp. The sink did not drain, the toilet did not flush, the bathtub did not drain, there... More

This Quality Inn is located at exit 138 of I-95 near Rocky Mount, NC.We checked in on a Saturday on our way south from PA. This hotel is in very bad shape. There is a foul smell in the hallways. In the rooms, the wallpaper is peeling, the carpets are not vacuumed, lights and remotes do not work. Dirty sheets... More

My wife and I were just passing through and needed a place to stay. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hotel seemed to be undergoing some renovation since there was a restaurant where the continental breakfast was served but the restaurant wasn't open otherwise. A light bulb in the room was burned out and the cover to an... More
