The property is lovely, many acres of forested land with trails, a river (i suggest rafting it)...the dragon is only 3 miles away (curvy road filled with motorcycles and sports cars.) We've stayed at Tapoco Lodge on four different occasions. Now we're planning our fifth visit. We've even invited our relatives from Texas to attend this fifth vist with us. Can hardly wait. Food is fantastic, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the management couldn't be more accomodating. more

What a beautiful place to stay. We drove up on this accidently and with no reservations. They were very hospitable. Made us dinner even though the kitchen was already closed and not just something simple but a full meal! We can't say enough nice things about Tapoco Lodge just outside of Robbinsville. It's a lovely family run lodge with cabins on over 100 acres of beautiful forest.
