Excellent meal only out down by the atmosphere. We frequently visit the Natahala area and the one thing that has always been missing is a fine dining experience. We recently discovered Jasper's and now it is one of my top restraunts. If we did not have a vaction home in the area I am sure this would be a gret... More

My husband surprised me with a weekend getaway for our anniversary. To say he did well is an understatement. We have stayed at countless great places throughout the Southeastern US, but this place is truly special and unique. It manages to be laid back and luxurious at the same time. If you enjoy the mountains and like to get away... More

This is now our third year at this incredible lodge. There are so many words which come to mind about this very special place. Words like: Magical, tranquil, serene, spiritual, peaceful, and charming. I remember certain things my grandmother used to cook and bake. Despite following her recipes to the letter, no one in the family can quite reproduce the... More

Its hard to capture the magic of a place like Tapoco in a few sentences. How about this: Perfect, fluffy, hot home-made breakfast biscuits. Wild otters splash and play on an expertly guided kayak trip with Tina. Hard-to-find single malt scotch at the bar. Heavenly Maple Creme Brulee. Surprisingly competitive Croquet Tournament on the lawn. World's comfiest mattresses. Hotel Staff's... More

Tapoco (pronounced Ta Poke Ah) Lodge is a rare find; a hidden jewel by the rushing Cheoah River about 16 miles north of Robbinsville, NC on highway 129. It's both pristine and tranquil. The lodge dates back to the 1930's but has been renovated to modern conveniences without losing its charm. We spent three nights there and just didn't want... More

I make plans to visit Tapoco Lodge every year. Some of the best driving/motorcycling roads in the world. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I recommend one of the cabins. Sitting out on the deck at night listening to the stream and nature is a wonderful experience. Thanks for another great weekend! Dale

Tapoco Lodge is a gem nestled in the Western NC Mountains. We had a family and friends gathering with 10 us for three days! What a magnificent combination of understated luxury, beautiful grounds, and a delightful staff which made our stay so special. Recently completely remodeled and restored by its new owners, the Inn has 31 rooms. The rooms are... More

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly folks who just wanted to show the world what they had found, a slice of Paradise! My company held their annual retreat there in June, a perfect place to unplug, This is the place to regroup, reconnect, crank out some work, yet create a fun, relaxing trip for everyone. The... More

We visited the lodge for one night on our way to Asheville. The cabin was rustic but nice -with a relaxing front porch. We would have enjoyed hiking the on-site trail but it was a little overgrown. The best part of the visit is simply the friendly staff and owners!

This place was amazing! The grounds were kept like high end luxury grounds one could find in any MX or world class destination. I was able to relax and enjoy the area in every aspect. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful, the food and service that comes with your stay is un- matched, I am serious as can be,... More
