My husband and I just experienced the most relaxing, serene, quality weekend with the most awesome food and best service ever. Everyone at the lodge is friendly and they make you feel like this is your second home. We stayed in a cabin overlooking the river and enjoyed sitting in the rockers reading, talking and listening to nature. Just a... More

My family and I received the best in hospitality at Tapoco Lodge. The food and service were excellent. The patio area gives you a great view of the Cheoah River. The rooms are cozy and free of TV and phones which is always a plus when you're in these wonderful mountains. We definitely plan to stay here again. I also... More

As the title suggests my husband had to drag me kicking and screaming out of the lodge because I didn't want to ever leave. From the minute we arrived and were greeted by Becky and Ronnie we felt as if we had left the universe and found Nirvana. We were looking for a quiet relaxing vacation and boy did we... More

Tapoco Lodge is a gem among rocks, both in the literal and figurative sense. With accommodating staff that caters to your every need, pure honest "downhome" hospitality, and with meals served to you as if you were royalty, you will thanking yourself for choosing to stay here instead of just any regular "ordinary" place. Ronnie cares about this place as... More

Consider us satisfied guests. Everything from making reservations to check-in to dinner to breakfast and finally the inevitable check-out was handled with the utmost caring and consideration. Becky was a jewel the entire weekend and took excellent care of our group of six, going above and beyond as bartender, hostess, server and social director. I have and will continue to... More

My husband and I were more than pleased with our recent visit to Tapoco Lodge. It was such a serene setting. We walked the beautiful grounds and sat by the river's edge and just had the most relaxing time. We enjoyed the history of the lodge and the antique items that are displayed. The old movie theatre was great. The... More

Tapoco Lodge is not particularly elegant but it is comfortable, spacious, and attractive. Rooms are large and well appointed. Bathrooms are modern and recently renovated. While it seems on first glance to be expensive, it is a good value -- with excellent food and an exceedingly friendly and accommodating staff. We spent a very rainy week-end there to attend a...
