If you are a biker or even just wanting a little vacation away from the crowds, this the place. The people that run this motel are very friendly and nice. It maybe a older motel but the location is the reason why we chose it off the main road and there is a restaurant right next door, in which the... More

Not much I can add that others have not covered. Room 108 was very dated, I think the carpet was there to simply cover the soil, very uneven floor. Air conditioning was a window unit from the 60s I think, very noisy, so I tolerated the heat vs the noise. Bed was comfortable, but then any bed would have been... More

If you're looking for a low-key vacation; it's hard to beat the area. Plenty of hiking, biking and the best motorcycle roads the Eastern corridor has to offer. Lots of local restaurants to choose from but if you're looking for a chain, may have to travel a bit. However, there is a grocery store within walking distance. The accommodations are... More

I have to begin by echoing other reviews: Better than a tent and definitely friendly. I also like the outdoor courtyard and seating area. Otherwise... What's with the bank security window at check in? The owner, while incredibly friendly, kept forgetting to hit the intercom and continued to talk to us - we saw her mouth moving but no sound,... I ended up here since the other hotels were sold out, was midnight and it was that or sleeping in the car. This hotel have separate cabins, which is a great concept for motorcycles, the owners live there and are great people. The place is clean, BUT, the rooms are old and worn, furniture, bed, curtains, tv, have seen better... More

The lady who runs the place is a very sweet person. But that is where the good part of my review stops. The rooms are very small, dank and musty. The matresses are old, have not been updated in years and the topper was damp, but not because it had been washed. Absolutely no amenities to speak of, the wifi... More

We stayed here right before the Thanksgiving holiday. It is the perfect place to serve as a base if you are riding your motorcycle in the area, which we were. The room was big and roomy enough for all of our motorcycle gear and accessories. We would get up in the morning, ride and the room was always clean when... More

On a whelm Labor day weekend I called for a room so I could ride the Dragon came by myself and as a lady felt very safe. Miss Reba (who turned 80 this weekend) treated me like one of her own children. I can not thank her enough loved the location and my bed slept better than any select comfort.... More

Found this motel off the Main Street and thought we'd try it. Office is in nice, older home and elderly lady waited on me. Room #8 was comfortable, clean, and aged, but clean. Not your chain motel but beds were good and we slept well.

My uncle and I needed a place to stay will motorcycling in the area. Based on other recommendation we stayed at the Phillips Motel. I was not disappointed. It is older, quaint motor lodge. The furniture didn't necessarily match but the rooms were clean. The plumbing recently upgraded. Everything worked. The bed was very comfortable. And it was quiet. The... More
