This was such a pleasant peaceful surprise. A small, cozy lodge where ipads and iphones are rarely seen. The food was delicious, accommodations comfortable with trails and lakes nearby. The food is all inclusive and they even pack your lunch for your daily adventures. My husband and I are looking forward to visiting again.

Six couples stayed recently for 2 nights. All 6 couples enjoyed their stay. Three couples were new and the other 3 have been there before. As one of the returnees, (4th time,) it was the best weekend to date. The food was outstanding. The service was excellent in all areas. The addition of a fire pit in the outside screened... More

We go to Snowbird Mountain Lodge 2 or 3 times a year to relax and rejuvenate our souls! The Staff, food, rooms, grounds, etc. are always top notch!! One of our favorite places to hang out is in the screen room with the fire pit enjoying a nice glass of wine and talking with other guest! The trails on the... More

We were there many years ago and thought the place was great. This time we were impressed by the indifferent service (except the bartender - who was delightful), the ho-hum cuisine, the deteriorating condition of the facilities and the formidable expense. We do not intend to return to the Snowbird Mountain Lodge.

As caretaker and steward of Snowbird Mountain Lodge I wanted to take a moment to thank you for taking the time to review your stay here on the mountain. I also wanted to personally apologize for your impressions while here. Maintaining a remote Lodge listed on the National Historic Register and National Trust can be a challenge, but the Lodge... My husband and I went for three nights mid week and had a great time. We stayed in one of the cabins which had a fantastic view with a hot tub on the deck. We went hiking every day, and relaxed at night in front of the fire. There are no TVs in the rooms which I loved and cell... More

This out-of-the-way lodge is just the place to relax and refresh from the hectic pace of everyday life. You will be welcomed like family and treated like an honored guest. The hospitality cannot be beat. They think of all the little things you didn't know you wanted or needed. The food is spectacular (3 meals a day included) and is... More

We live in the area, and for that reason, we often take friends and relatives to the lodge for dinner. The food is always delicious. It's also expensive, so you want to come away satisfied. The bartender is wonderful, the location is wonderful, but when you eat a dinner, you want to walk out thinking, "I just ate a wonderful... More

We attended the annual wine weekend and the food & wine were absolutely fabulous. As always, this was a time to relax, enjoy the spectacular views and commune with nature and good friends. The warm fireplaces were most appreciated as it was a cold weekend outside. Inside the lodge we were warm and cozy and well fed. Robert and the... More

We stayed in the Chestnut Lodge in Silverbell and it was fantastic. The staff is very accommodating and the food is excellent! The view from the large deck was awesome. Hiking is close by in Joyce Kilmer Memorial Park.

We were there for the 10th annual wine weekend and the food was great, The wine was superb and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. 1/2 of our group are vegetarians and they adjusted and had separate choices for them. We hiked and relaxed and read good books and visited with the other guests .
