The hotel is located on a busy main road very close to Pangbourne railway station, which has freight trains passing through all night, so sleep was non-existent! The room itself was extremely small, but the breakfast was OK

Hotel accommodation was excellent - great selection of teas, coffees etc and an added bonus of minature bottle of flavoured vodka. Breakfast was wonderful, but the buffet and cooked options. Friendly & helpful staff.

Got the chicken lolypops for a starter in the bar - deep fried fat and gristle with about 10% actual meat present. I wouldn't feed them to a dog... The main course came in stages for our group too, so that wasn't great either. The staff were pleasant enough, but we won't be heading there for lunch again anytime soon.

I attended a private function. Much bigger function room than I had imagined with lovely décor , which opened out on to the garden. Parking nearby. Staff were available but not over pushy and it seemed to run very smoothly.

Nearly missed this hotel on our visit, situated on a busy high street needs keen eyes to spot it. To cut to the chase a hotel with an Indian theme with all the deco Indian related. The hotel is fine, bar, rooms, gardens but the biggest asset is its' staff all very helpful and obliging could not do enough for... More

Not just a charming, characterful hotel, but one with great staff well suiting the hotel ethos. The breakfast and bar food are wonderful, and the location perfect - right by the train station and close to the Thames. Just be prepared... Everything creaks!

Stayed one night in one of the garden rooms. It was great to be able to have the dog with us. The staff were friendly and the room clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. Perhaps it isn't a good sign when the menu starts with alcoholic cures for hangovers. There was no espresso,... More

Chosen on a whim, but so glad we did! Very good service. Friendly staff. Clean room, good bathroom, lots of extra nice touches. Comfy bed. Amazing decoration throughout hotel. Lovely garden. And to top it off a terrific breakfast, never had one like it and I have stayed in many places. Well done. We shall return. Shame we did not... More

Stayed here on business and would be pleased to return for a leisure break. Room was super, located in private wing to the rear of hotel overlooking well maintained gardens and shrubberies. It had an Indian and travel theme and came supplied with those little extras that make a stay more personal - I wont spoil the surprises and quirks... More
