My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a graduation. It is located in downtown Raleigh which was convenient. Also, parking for the hotel was in a garage across the street. It was nice to stay in dwontown and not have to pay for valet parking. Although the hotel has Sheraton attached to its name, it's independently operated. Therefore,... more

This hotel was chosen because of its proximity to the Raleigh Conference Center where our Conference was being held. The hotel ambiance was nice, but there were a few downsides. The breakfast buffet was advertised as costing around $11. When we got the bill, we noticed that we were each charged $16 - the extra was for our beverages. A... more

The hotel's a pretty standard Sheraton - nothing fancy, but perfectly decent. The fitness center is tiny: three treadmills, (one of which was broken), a stepper, and a bike, along with one nautilus machine and a weight bench. Whole hotel was non-smoking, but my room smelled very faintly of smoke. Five minutes of airing out would probably have solved it,... more

Stayed at the Sheraton Raleigh en route to another locale. Mid week stay. Staff was very pleasant and responsive. Hotel was okay. Rooms are listed as being recently renovated - but I think it is probably more accurate to say that the furniture has been upgraded. Linens were old. Pool was dirty, could see bandaids floating in the pool. Jacuzzi... more

We were in town for a wedding and spent 2 nights at the Sheraton in January. The hotel has been recently remodeled since a brand new Marriott opened down the street. Basic King room was a bit on the small side and the bathroom was tight if two people needed to get ready at the same time. We had a... more

My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton Raleigh on Friday and Saturday night. I was attending a seminar at the Convention Center, which was a short walk (less than a block) away. After checking out rates through Trip Advisor, I booked directly with the Sheraton website. The $89 rate for a king room was $30 less than the best... more

I stayed here during a large conference held at the convention center, which is right across the street. It was very convenient for that purpose, however there was some street construction during my stay and it was pretty noisy even on the 15th floor. The room was average-sized, with nice amenities. Although the television was outdated and there was an... more

I stayed recently for a conference. The check-in was fine, the front desk staff was very courteous. The room was clean and the bedding was typical of Sheraton with the fluffy pillows and comforter, however the bathroom was a little small. My only conplaint was the location, which is very close to the police/fire station. There seemed to be sirens... more

These people are idiots. I asked someone to help with the thermostat in the room because it was too cold. six hours later I received a portable heater. I also called when I checked in about the toilet running. After two hours, my friend fixed it. when I mentioned it to the guy who brought me the heater, he brought... more

Though this is not a horrible hotel, I've had problems from the beginning of my check in. The television never worked properly, and though they sent someone to help, it was never resolved. While some of the administration was friendly, others were not so friendly-I truly felt I was inconveniencing them when I needed to have an issue resolved. Some... more
