The location is very convenient to everything downtown. What I didn't like about was the bathrooms. It was very small and no room to move around in when you got out of the shower. Oh, they don't even have complimentary coffee downstairs!! You had to pay for it from a machine!!!

The hotel room is very small! Especially the bathroom! You cannot close the bathroom door unless you stand between the wall and commode or step into the bathtub! If you are traveling alone, then that is not an issue. The room is large enough for one. The breakfast buffet was very expensive (10.95) and was the same breakfast you can... More

Where should I start? At the beginning lol. Here it is. When we arrived at the Holiday inn we were impressed from the hello. The ladies at the front counter were very nice. From there we went to our room. Opened the door and it was nice. Everything was up to date except there was no vent in the bathroom.... More

Nice view and in walking distance to many great restaurants and bars. The hallways are super loud at night. And you simply cannot shut the bathroom door. I also always had a wet spot on the bathroom floor. There must be a leak somewhere. Would not choose again for next stay in downtown Raleigh.

I may not be a student of architecture or engineering but in my layman's eye, one should have the capability of closing the bathroom door without having to straddle the toilet and/or step into the tub first. To say that this hotel has a "design flaw" is a mild understatement of the LACK of room to privately handle your "business".... More

Dear Edgar F, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent stay. I am glad that you found our hotel staff friendly and that you liked our restaurant services. On the other hand, it is truly regrettable that some aspects of our room accommodations fell below your expectations. Allow me to also apologize for any... More

Stayed there for a Hurling Tournament in Raleigh. The hotel is right downtown close to restaurants and nightlife. The rooms were a little dated but very clean with comfortable beds. The views from the rooms and the skybar were fantastic. Bartender in the skybar really knew her stuff too, just wish it stayed open until 2am! All in all a... More

Easy to get in and out of from the highway. great location surrounded by fantastic restaurants including my favorite Spanish Tapas place, Tasca Brava across the street. Easy parking garage with easy access. Friendly front door. I loved my room as it was in a corner in 6th floor with a view of the rail tracks. pretty cool. Comfortable, clean... More

I don't usually write reviews but the skybox restaurant made me change my mind. My server Kierra Bonner was magnificent!!!! She knew about every food item on their menu and most importantly helped my friend and I choose what was the one of the best dishes we've tasted at a hotel. I got the chicken and vegetable rice bowl and... More

We stayed at this hotel while in town for a concert. Was charged for parking after being promised free parking at booking and at $100 a night, there was no refrigerator in the room. You had to pay extra for that as well. While it was clean, didn't like the lack of amenities.

The bathrooms are super super small so that was a bit of a downside. I highly recommend the breakfast, plus kids eat free. Brenda that works in the morning is fabulous. I would avoid dinner, service is terrible and not worth the discount of kids eating free. The people working seemed to be bothered that we came to eat and... More
