I'm a platinum member and business traveler. I was very happy with my stay here, and this hotel compares favorably with other Marriott hotels. I was upgraded to a suite by the nice gentleman at the front desk. The hotel is right by the interstate, but you hear no traffic. The interior is very nice and comfortable. Everything about the... more

My brother booked a couple of rooms when our family visited Raleigh for a college graduation. The location is convenient, just off the 440 beltline on a hill overlooking Wake Forest Road. Plenty of restaurants north of the hotel on Wake Forest Road. One block south is Six Forks Road, which also has plenty of restaurants and shopping in the... more

Used AAA rate and got a King room for $80. Due to my husband's Platinum status with Marriott, we were upgraded to a king suite at no cost. Room was very, very nice. Had a balcony overlooking the pool. Hotel was very quiet so we ended up staying an extra night. We were initially charged a higher rate for the... more

We got tickets for a Carolina Hurricanes playoff game and live about 3 hours away near Charlotte. We had a $50 Marriott gift card so we went online to see which Marriott hotels near the arena were available. We found this hotel only about 10 minutes away from the RBC Center directly off of the 440 beltline for $79 plus... more

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in, anywhere. Exceptionally clean, quiet, well-appointed rooms. Free Starbucks coffee in the lobby, new flat screen TVs, very comfortable beds, etc. An all-around gem! more

We booked this hotel since it was close to the TWC Pavilion (Alltell/Walnut Creek). Great place to stay, however, lots of construction in front of the hotel. Rooms were newly remodeled. Bed was very comfy. We were on the 1st floor, able to walk right out into the pool area. The pool area had lots of different seating areas --... more

Typical older Courtyard, but freshened this year, said the front desk staffer. Layout a bit sprawling, so a hike from our room to lobby, after elevator to change floors. Room and bathroom very clean. We had a standard 2 Queen bed room, with balcony overlooking parking lot and busy, noisy multi-lane road. Balcony very narrow, no chairs. I guess the... more

This hotel is passable but not great. The beds are fairly hard, though the rooms are clean and fairly large. The lack of room service is annoying for those times when I don't feel like going out to get something to eat. Nearby (i.e. within about a 2-mile radius) are a half-dozen fast food restaurants but nothing other than fast... more
