I've stayed at this location a couple of times and it's a great value! Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and they even have a continental breakfast. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to the highway and within walking distance of Crabtree Mall.

This was our 4th year coming here, We found this gem a few years back and come back each year for a week's business trip. Best bang for the buck. Rooms are clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is standard fare, but the waffles are tasty.

Stayed here for two nights during a trip to Raleigh. Friendly staff. Really nice rooms for the price. Location was near a lot of attractions and the very expansive Crabtree Mall. My only complaint is that the breakfast could be given a face lift. Maybe add some hard boiled eggs or fruit for those of us who can't eat wheat... More

Overall the stay was well worth the price. The room was clean. TV, refrigerator, washer, dryer and wifi operational. The staff was very kind and helpful as was the owner of the hotel. I stayed at this location several years and quickly noticed the improvements. Although the "fitness center" is very small, the treadmill was operational. I was thankful that... More

You have many options in the Crabtree area. I have stayed at many hotels. I am by far most satisfied with Americas best value @ Crabtree. Not only is the property clean and safe but the room is BIG and has a MODERN feel. It is evident to me the owner cares about his property the staff is very friendly.... More

We carefully monitor the property to ensure that everyone can get a good night’s rest – and yes, we try to be friendly, respectful and responsive to every... More

This hotel is conveniently located near some great shopping with easy access to the expressway. I found it to be comfortable and clean. It's only two levels, but the there was no elevator, so keep that in mind. Enjoy your stay.

Thanks for your kind remarks. We are just one block away from some of the region's best shopping (Crabtree Valley Mall) as well as dozens of restaurants. We're between downtown Raleigh and the airport, and a short drive from NC State University. When you visit us next, please request a ground floor room: that way you'll have no steps at... More

This is not my first experience at the America's Best and I can say it will not be my last. In these times where customer service is at the top percentage for approval rating of all businesses, I have nothing negative to say about my visit to this place. Every time I have come here I have experienced a wonderful... More

Like others stated, the hotel is basic. Not a bad thing at all when you are looking for a good value! The staff was super friendly, the room was clean, bed comfy and the price could not be beat! The only thing I might suggest is that the hotel improve its breakfast selections slightly. I'm a healthy eater and there... More

We are a very affordable option in the desirable Crabtree Valley area. “The staff was super friendly, the room was clean, bed comfy and the price could not be beat!” (That’s what we strive for!) We'll certainly consider your suggestions when we update our next breakfast menu. We hope to see you again soon and thanks for your kind remarks. More

You get what you pay for. I ended up here in a pinch. My room was on the balcony and it smelled like it was once a smoking room. The clock-radio was broken and the room looked very old (bad moulding, scraped up doors, ancient floors, old A/C system, etc.) I was nervous getting under the covers. The vending machine... More

Thank you for your comments. We apologize that you smelled smoke in your room. Most of our rooms are non-smoking and all of our balcony rooms are non-smoking. Occasionally, a guest will smoke in a non-smoking room but this is rare and we do extra cleaning in that situation. If that ever happens, please report the matter to the front... More

The room was great. We had enough room for the four of us. The beds we incredible and we slept well. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only setback was that this hotel has no elevator and even though we had to only go down one flight of stairs, its a lot with luggage and kids under foot. Also,... More

Thanks for your kind remarks. We’ve heard other guests say that our rooms are spacious compared to many of the area’s hotels. And thanks for your compliments regarding the comfortable bedding and helpful customer service.
