A lovely home in a great section of Raleigh! Gretchen and George are very knowledgeable of the Raleigh area and provide wonderful tips for dining and shopping. The bath in the City of Oaks room is fabulous -- completely remodeled. Great Arts and Crafts home and wonderful innkeepers. Very clean but comfortable. Breakfast is outstanding and plentiful. I highly recommend this inn. more

My husband and I recently took a trip to Raleigh, NC to look at homes. We were fortunate to find the best B&B in town. The innkeepers, George and Gretchen go above and beyond of what is expected and make you feel right at home. We had such a great time at the Woodburn Cottage we were sad to go home.

Location – The Woodburn Cottage is located right in a section of Raleigh called Cameron Park. It is a beautiful neighbor with tree lined streets and walking distance to many shops, restaurants and other amenities. Can’t beat the location.

Innkeepers – George and Gretchen go above and beyond what is expected. They are very friendly and welcoming. They make you feel at home from the minute you arrive until you leave. My husband and I forgot our toothbrushes and Gretchen gratefully gave us two toothbrushes. They had many great recommendations for dinner, site seeing and because we were house hunting they gave us information on all the neighborhoods. When I booked our... more
