Let me precede my review by saying that this hotel has been under construction for 2 months according to the front desk.
Although during my stay, I just saw one man painting the hall. My family and I decided to stop in Raleigh to check out the city as we were passing through the state of NC. We were very tired and walked into the Ramada to get a room for the 2 days we planned to stay. Don't be fooled by the decent lobby, I saw a pretty clean area with a bar/lounge and several people standing around so I thought it was ok to stay. When we got into the room, the TV was not working, maintenance was sent up and after several minutes and noticing that the entire cable was pulled out of a gaping hole in the wall; he encouraged the front desk to change our room. The next room had a working TV, but the tub was dirty and the stopper was broken. I learned after we checked in that the pool is not open (they are waiting for inspection), you get a better internet connection in the lobby... more
