seriously, i have stayed here many times over the years and these 2 employees and i know each other on a first name basis. it can be difficult getting in and out of the hotel due to the traffic but it is otherwise a good location. parking is good, rooms are clean, nice pool and the breakfast is better than... more

This hotel was marked as a 3-star on Hotwire and I disagree. They may be trying to upgrade - my room smells as if it was painted today and there are still many signs that is was painted with a sprayer. Some of which show on a loud heater/air conditioner that was too loud to leave on, leaving the room... more

I like Best Western. In fact I am a Best Western Gold Club member. This one was clean enough and the folks at the front desk we nice, but the breakfast really was not up to Best Western’s usual standards: The coffee was lukewarm! I had to ask for cream cheese for my bagel. (They had never got it out.)... more

Front dest was kind enough to upgrade at check in (no charge) to the king suite in the back building because I wanted a microwave/refrigerator. Room was fine for business purposes, with wireless internet and the price was right. It didn't seem exceptionally clean and the hot water was tepid, at best. more

Not a bad choice. Section of town is so-so but the rooms have (are being renovated) and it is very nice. If you are doing business out Capital Blvd - it is a great location. Staff is nice and very accommodating. Wireless signal is strong and the property seems to be attracting more business travelers. Grounds are nice and well... more

We got a pretty good deal for our room, $60 a night. The room was pretty clean, staff was friendly and wireless internet worked great. Unfortunately, the smell of cigarette smoke filled the hallways and seeped under the door of our room. This one fact alone made would keep me from staying at this hotel again. Unfortunately, its not the... more

I always look for Best Westerns because they have free high speed wireless. I'd stayed at this hotel about three times before and had been impressed with the suites, the breakfast offered, and the friendliness of staff. That's why I was surprised and disappointed when I stayed there in May. Did this hotel recently change owners or managers? My phone... more

I stayed at the Best Western Raleigh North with my mom as we were looking at the local Peace College which was 2 miles away. At first sight I knew the stay would not be enjoyable and thankfully we only had to stay for one night. The staff was not very friendly to say the least and as we were... more

I just returned from a stay at the Best Western North in Raleigh North Carolina. The staff was very friendly and polite. The location of this hotel is very good as you can get on to 440 practically from the front door. The room itself needs a serious update and cleaning. The daily housekeeping was fine but the carpet, upholstered... more

Had a little problem finding the reservation because it was made online... OK, it happens. BUT, the room was filthy... The curtains were spotted and mildew. There were dried food stains on the carpet and loveseat. Smoke free room, but, plenty of musty odors. Had to leave and stay elsewhere but the room was prepaid so, I lost that money....... more
