They may be trying to upgrade - my room smells as if it was painted today and there are still many signs that is was painted with a sprayer. I like Best Western. In fact I am a Best Western Gold Club member. This one was clean enough and the folks at the front desk we nice, but the breakfast really was not up to Best Western’s usual standards: The coffee was lukewarm! I had to ask for cream cheese for my bagel. (They had never got it out.)... more

Front dest was kind enough to upgrade at check in (no charge) to the king suite in the back building because I wanted a microwave/refrigerator. Room was fine for business purposes, with wireless internet and the price was right. It didn't seem exceptionally clean and the hot water was tepid, at best. more

Not a bad choice. Section of town is so-so but the rooms have (are being renovated) and it is very nice. If you are doing business out Capital Blvd - it is a great location. Had a little problem finding the reservation because it was made online... OK, it happens. BUT, the room was filthy... The curtains were spotted and mildew.
