The exterior of the Hyatt Place North Raleigh is attractive. The lobby and surrounding rooms have a most modern feel but lacking in warmth. Self-check in at a kiosk conveniently located just inside the front entry way. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable with a living room set-up complete with a sofa and 42" HD tv. The bathroom sink... more

We stoped here for an ovenight rest on our drive back to Baltimore from Atlanta. We had a room with a King bed and a pull out sofa. The hotel as a Starbucks cafe feel from the moment you enter. They do have a starbucks cafe downstairs that offers drinks and snacks 24 hours a day I think. We got... more

We stayed at the Hyatt on a recent trip to Raleigh for the Jimmy Buffett concert. The hotel was booked full for the night and even though we heard the front desk telling others there would be no early check-ins, we decided to give the touch-screen kiosk a try anyway and what do you know....the kiosk gave us our keys!... more

My husband and I booked two rooms at Hyatt Place on April 12, 2008. We were staying overnight only to spend the following day at the NC Renaissance Faire. We were looking for a reasonable rate, as well as something a bit more "suite like" since one room was for our sixteen-year-old daughter and two of her friends. The hotel... more

Excellent property in North Raleigh. Stayed here in April to go to a concert at the Disco Rodeo. Room was on the small side, but the comfortable bed and plasma television more than made up for it. Staff were also very friendly, we got into town about three hours earlier than expected, they accommodated us with a early check in.... more

The changeover from Amerisuites to Hyatt Place is still occurring. The mod decor is attractive but will soon be dated. We were greeted by friendly staff and a check-in kiosk! That's right- - the kiosk by the door has rtouch screens- swipe your credit card and retrieve your room keys! Cool. Our room was nice - typical Amerisuite floor plan... more

I got this hotel from Priceline at a great rate. Check in was quick. My room perfect. Spotless. It consisted of a separate area with a sofa. The bed was so comfortable. The room also had a 42" plasma TV and a refridgerator. They also have a free breakfast in the morning which I slept through. I checked out an... more

Fantastic! They have remodeled the whole hotel with fantastic beds, marble fixtures, 48 inch flat screen TV, great couch and comforting fixtures. We stayed here over Easter Weekend and got excellent rates for the weekend on the hotel website. Currently the lobby is being renovated so breakfast and a make shift lobby have been moved into a meeting room. This... more

My family and I recently stayed at the Amerisuite Raleigh on Wake Forest Road. It was a terrible experience. At first glance, the hotel seemed nice enough until we went to bed. The bed was like sleeping in a torture chamber. I was up half the night and when I got up in the morning I hurt everywhere. The next... more

As a regular here, I want to warn you off for the immediate future; they've "shampooed" the carpets throughout the property, leaving behind a strong chemical odor that can't be expunged even with a thorough airing. I woke with swollen eyes from breathing it all night and anyone with allergies should stay away. I did try three rooms before they... more
