We really enjoyed our stay at Furain. Our hosts were pleasant and very helpful, and the building is situated in a very pretty little village, perfect for walks, and with several nice restaurants. My kids also fell in love with "Tarn", they're friendly little dog. The rooms were clean and comfy, and they offered a good variety of food at... More

Lovely guest house, great room with excellent facilities. Best B & B breakfast, great choices and the Scottish smoked salmon and scrambled eggs was delicious. Alison and Dave are great hosts, very friendly with a really good knowledge of the area. We stayed here for 2 nights and would definitely come back, highly recommended.

We have stayed here many times before with the previous owners but within the last month spent 10 nights with Alison and Dave whilst clearing out a relative's house. They are bringing the building up-to-date in a charming way, whilst still maintaining the character of the property. While we were there, our fellow guests were a mixture of couples on... More

A warm welcome and a nice big clean room (think I got a family room). A lovely traditional Scottish guest house in a beautiful setting. The free wifi was good and breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Everything is just perfect here. The welcome was great and checking in simple, the rooms are lovely and brilliantly clean and bright. Breakfast is more than delicious. Under new ownership since October 2013. This B&B is located 8 miles from Aberdeen, conveniently located on a bus line. There is limited parking out front, but street parking is available (Cairn Rd.) and IMO is more accessible. We always received a speedy response to our pre-arrival correspondence with Alison. We stayed in the ground floor extension. I found the... More
