I visited NC for a quick business weekend business trip. Plymouth was the next town over. It was a 1 horse town so I honestly didn't expect to find a decent hotel. I lucked up, the hotel front desk service was probably better than half the service I've received at a 5 star hotel. I mean it was a overnight... More

Motel was very nice . Staff very pleasant . Room clean , beds good . Easy to find , near several resturants. Museum is small , but very nice , the staff was helpful and the overall area is very pleasant for the history buff.

We stayed here one night as a last minute booking to get to the Outer Banks. It is about 1.5 hours away if you drive the speed limit. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful for the few moments I spent with her. As for the room, it was typical of a $69 room. Smelled very moldy, very old furnishings,... More

We have stayed at the Port-O-Plymouth on several different trips with friends and family. It has always been 1 night on our way to somewhere else. The place is certainly nothing fancy, but it is more than adequate for a quick overnight stay. It's clean, has free continental breakfast ( basic stuff), can't beat the rates and the staff has... This is a classic style motel, but well maintained and very helpful. This does not seem to be a place you'd want to stop if a better class restaurant is on your "important" list. Pizza Hut and McDonalds are some of the better restaurants.

It's a simple and somehow a little crude motel. But it's ok for one night stay during a travel of long distance. The location is convenient and there several restaurants in walking distance with it. It also provide free breakfast, though, which is very simple.

The room was nice, clean and it had a new big flate scren tv in it. I also thought the bed was nice and soft, I normaily wake up in the morning with back pain but not this time!! I was verry happy with that! Everything I needed was in walking distance, food, store, and places to shop for a... More

My husband and I stayed there in July 2012 and had a terrible experience. We stayed in a room near the pool as soon as I walk in I knew it was not a good situation the person next to us had there door open with gallon of liquor everywhere and smoking (not cigarettes)! We origianally book because we needed... More

First Impression was poor, and went down hill from there... Rooms are old, damp and stinky. Tried one room, sink leaked, didn't even want to use bathroom or sit on beds. Tried another, it was even worse than the first. Decided to get our money back and left. Would rather have slept in the car. If the Holiday Inn is... More
