On a trip down the east coast we decided to go out of our way a bit to try this Inn for one evening since it has such a good reputation. The laid back luxury of the Inn did not disappoint. The Inn is situated in the Village of Fearrington a quaint village built around a former farm which anchors... More

We were there for a wedding and had a great time. Nice lunch in the Granary. Delicious Southern breakfasts and tea in the main house. Large comfortable rooms with free wifi, very comfortable beds and nice ambiance. Nice outside beer garden with music, and The Goat, a nice espresso and snack shop. Great place for a wedding in the converted... More

Beautiful elegant and charming. A great experience. A perfect getaway. Breakfast was delicious. A wonderful place. Easy going ambiance. Avoid Mondays as restaurant is closed. Low key relaxation in tasteful setting.

We stopped at Fearrington Inn on the way back from a family vacation (40 people in 5 houses). We loved the quiet elegance of the property. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite on arrival. It was tastefully decorated with a soft, comfortable bed and a large bath...that included a jacuzzi. The turn-down service was a great touch...a small... More

We recently spent three nights and we were impressed with the quality of the whole village. I was surprised to find a village instead of just a hotel. It is beautifully planned out and great for walks. Our room was very comfortable and furnished with some antiques but the design and fabrics were exceptional. A large bathroom. We were upgraded... My long weekend at Fearrington was the perfect place to relax and unwind! Upon check in, I was upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite, more like a luxury apartment, complete with a entrance patio, front door, separate living and bedroom, large walk-in closet and spacious bath with heated towel bars and heated floor! The staff was top notch and service... More

On March 16 my wife and I got snowed in for an extra day at a lovely resort on the Chesapeake Bay by seven inches of snow from and unexpected late winter storm. That forced the cancellation of our hotel reservation in Durham and all the nice hotels and resorts we checked in the Durham area were booked solid (perhaps... More

The Fearrington Inn is simply the best place to relax, eat fantastic food and enjoy the surroundings. The staff throughout the property are excellent, very personable, very helpful and simply want to ensure that everything you need is available and nothing is to much trouble - even providing lettuce to feed the adorable goats. Highly recommend.

My wife and I were married at Fearrington over seven years ago. Despite our travels brining us back to the area, we had not stayed there again. Given that we were married there (a perfectly memorable event) our expectations were high--but they were met. If your travels take you to the area, or even if they don't stay at Fearrington.... More
