We stayed here from a Thursday to Monday morning. The room was very clean and had a fridge, microwave and a flat screen tv. We didn't have any problems checking in or out - the office staff and owner was very nice. There are a few cabins behind the inn that looks great.

Stay here every year for the Highland Games on Grandfather mountain. Quiet locaton but easily accessible for all local attractions and services. The site is always clean and tidy, the rooms are a good size, clean and well maintained with a tv, microwave and fridge. Always made to feel welcome.

We stayed here for the Highland Games festival. It was quiet, convenient, the room was clean, good sized, and the property very well maintained. I would stay again. Others have complained about rudeness at the front desk. My husband dealt with the owner who was very nice, and wife, who maybe should not be in the hospitality business, it was... More

I really enjoy staying at the Pineola Inn when I have a need for a room in the area. The rooms are nice and clean. It is an older Inn, but with nice amenities. I noticed they have started replacing the older TV's with some nice flat screen TVs.

Try it u will like it very clean great gift shop safe location nice owners. Lots if diffrent logging options as well. I would change the comforter to a down blanket but that's the only change I'd suggest. There is a small wall heater in the bathroom that is real nice as well. :-)

As some of the reviewers commented below, I found that these people seem to NOT CARE if they get business! On the weekend of July 4, 2000, I brought my girl and her daughter to experience the beauty of the area. Wishing to stay at the Pineola Motel on Hwy. 181, (where, as a young man I had stayed several... More

My husband and I stayed in the Honeymoon Suite Cabin #124. It was brand new and very clean. My only complaints would be that I had planned on cooking our meals while we were there (since there are no restaurants within about 20 mins) and there were hardly any pots or pans provided in the kitchen. Also, the "hot tub"... More

We had just visited another local inn and had looked at the room before booking it and decided it was not to our liking, so we headed over to the Pineola Inn which was much closer to our destination and had a very cute and well kept outside appearance. Sometimes looks can be deceiving and we also wanted to see... More

I had seen this inn for years and finally had an excuse to stay there. The outside is adorable but the rooms are even better than hoped for. The room was super clean, with a mini fridge, microwave, and lots of drawer space. Most hotels use key cards now so getting an actual key with a room number keychain was... More

Our room at the Pineola was clean, very well appointed with a great hot shower, flatscreen TV, and free wi-fi. Booking in and out was very straightforward. The biggest treat is the overall look of the place built in wood with seats on the balconies so you can watch the world go by if you have time! The store where... More
