This is our 5th time staying here, and we have visited the restaurant and bar every time we stay in Pinehurst. This place is a classic! Locals crowd the bar every afternoon/night, the rooms are "old school", and the staff make you feel welcome as soon as you enter. Great breakfast, comes with your stay. All the attractions and restaurants... More

Ideal location for several courses within 30 minutes from hotel. Most of clientelle at this time of year were retired and mostly golfers. The hotel is popular with local residents for the restaurant which was busy at the weekend and at a German Evening mid week. Not a location one would choose if on a non golfing couples holiday. However... More

We had a long drive from Maryland and the traffic was intense along the North VA loop. It took us about 3 hours longer than expected. When we arrived were greeted with music and Happy people dancing around us and helping us with our luggage. This place was Donald Ross's original home turned into a Bed and Breakfast. Donald Ross... My husband and I were traveling around North Carolina in July, and Pinehurst was our first stop. We were recommended to stay at The Pine Crest Inn because it is so rich in its history and importance to Pinehurst. We were not disappointed! We stayed on the top floor in a corner room. Our accommodations were lovely as was the... More

I knew others gave the hotel part poor reviews, but thought it's ok to stay a night or two? Wrong they really need to remodel the hotel part of this great historic hotel. It's expensive too? Breakfast is good and included but still not worth the cost. The pub is what this place is all about each night others come... More

Really enjoyed the service, accommodations and especially dinner and breakfast! Our friends and I really enjoyed Carl the bar tender and all of the staff! Shopping in the area was great and I was lucky to schedule a massage. Our husbands played Golf at nearby at MidPines. Their pub lunch was great!

We stayed at the Pinecrest Inn for one night-it was like going back in time. The two meals- dinner and breakfast were delicious and elegantly served. The Inn is lovely-well maintained and had the feel of the old south. The only problem was abit of a musty smell and a noisy air conditioner in our room. The town of PInehurst... More

Charming in an old homey way, Pinecrest Inn welcomes with a non freeway hotel feeling the minute you walk in. 3 floors, no elevator. Real keys for the door. Friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner included. Cozy bar and chipping game in the reception. Rockers on the front porch. Dinner was excellent. We walked around the corner to the town center... More
