For our 4th visit to Oriental we decided to stay at The Inn and were not disappointed! Lou and Lucy were very accommodating and lovely hosts. Breakfast was delicious...cooked to order and we enjoyed wine and conversation the evening before. The rooms are all nicely decorated ,our bed was comfy and we enjoyed our private patio. Will definitely make it... More

I've stayed at the Inn many times, beginning about 1999. It has recently changed ownership, and I'm delighted to say that very little has changed. It's still clean, comfortable, and extraordinarily friendly. The new owners, Lucy and Lou, knock themselves out to make their guests feel welcome (as did the old owners), and provide a wonderful breakfast as well as... More

Stayed here with the family over Thanksgiving. Lucy and Lou treated us like family and the amenities were great. I was really impressed with the interior furnishings; the inn certainly had a warm feel to it. Overall, we were very satisfied with our visit and would recommend to anyone else that is looking to stay in Oriental.

We stayed at the Inn because we had our sailboat at the Sailcraft boatyard and took the week off to work on it. We asked if we could just pay for the room and omit the breakfast because we left to go work on the boat before breakfast time. Marie was very agreeable and only charged us for the room... More

We have visited Oriental 3 times trying to find a sailboat to purchase. The Block Island room has 2 full beds and a day bed as well, so we, as 3 men each had a separate bed! Last time there was a couple & single man and the Block Island worked for that situation too. We were treated like family... More

All suites. We had an upstairs and downstairs unit. Enjoyed sitting out in the evening overlooking the water. The room was comfy and cozy. Very good service. We wanted to see oriental and this was the place to stay

This place is great! Marie and Hugh are wonderful hosts and we enjoyed talking to them. The rooms are a nice size and everything is very clean. We were also served a great breakfast each morning-the hardest part was deciding what we wanted. I'm not used to having a choice when staying at an Inn or B&B. It is located... More

As summer camp counselors, we don't have that much money to spend on a hotel room during our overnights. This place welcomed us in with open hands and lowered the price of the room but still gave us an amazing cute room to sleep! They also made us breakfast and let us stay in the room all afternoon before checking... More

A quaint, rambling place with nautical memorabilia at every turn. The owners, Hugh and Marie are a delightful couple and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Breakfast at the kitchen island or in the dining room is a treat. They generate good fellowship and I felt like one of the family! This was my second visit and there will... More

Three guys stayed in a room with 3 beds & room for two more beds! Delightful Breakfast prepared & served by Hugh the owner/operator. Was easy to find with plenty of parking & a very accomodating staff. We are going again on 21 June & they remembered us from our Feb 2014 visit.
