Stayed here after reading the reviews here. Liked the location. Easy walk to the central part of the village. We rented a golf cart. This is a must and adds to the fun. It rained a lot just prior to our arrival and there was standing water everywhere. Apparently heaviest in 7 years. The campsite was level with grass and... More

We stayed at Teeter's for the fist time this past weekend. We have no complaints. It was very wet, as it had been raining non stop all week, but this isn't their fault. Very central location and close to everything Ocracoke has to offer. We loved it and plan on going back soon.

A more interesting, but longer route from WIlmington NC to New England is the Outerbanks route. If you are lucky enough to have a camper, take the time to spend a night or two at Teeter's, situated down a pretty street, just a stone's throw from the ferry dock (from Cedar Island). We specifically chose to stay at Teeter's instead... More

When booking reservation, owner was very truthful about campground. No frills - right in the village. Level grass sites. Had water and electricity. Does offer full hook up but has a lot of returning summer campers who book a year ahead. Had a good experience.

It was really surprising what I read on some of these reviews. I wondered if we went to the same campground. I completely agree with the other terrible reviews. It was a joke. The one and only good thing I can say is that it is a short bicycle ride to town but other then that it was horrible. There... More

I tent camped at Teeter's for a week this summer while my wife attended NCCAT and I couldn't have had a better stay. First off, the owner is an extremely nice man who runs a clean, quiet campground with tent and RV sites. Everyone I spoke with in Ocracoke who was either staying at Teeter's or had stayed at Teeter's... More

I just loveOcracoke and Teeter's campground is within walking distance to everything. The place was very clean and people were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were very clean, the best I have ever seen during our travels. They had 2 outdoor showers and 2 full bathrooms with a lot of hot water. Will will surely come back here again.

We got lucky and were able to get a tent site last minute--would advise to book in advance. The atmosphere is relaxing. This campground is well kept, the people staying there and the people running the show are both friendly and courteous. The location is in the Village and everything is within walking distance. Plan to return!

We had a great time at Teeter's which is located close to most of Ocracoke Islands popular attractions, shopping, restaurants, and the ferry. A great area to bicycle since the campground is located on the back streets with not a lot of traffic. The campground and restrooms are clean and well maintained. Bubbie-the ownner/operator is a great and helpful guy.

Tetters campground was cool. I liked it, it was cheap and the owners were nice. I like it cause it was a party hole. I like to whole Southern culture. I must say yankees may get offended, so if you dont like rebel flags go to CapeCod. When at Tetters people party, when I go on vaction I don't want... More
