We just spent 4 nights on Ocracoke Island at Edwards and had a wonderful time. We stayed in a Courtyard Room that was very spacious and clean. We had a full size refrigerator. We even enjoyed talking with some of our neighbors in the Edwards Courtyard. We can't wait to go back and do it again. more

We just spent 4 wonderful nights at Edwards. I have to admit my wife and I were a little leery after spending last year at the Castle B&B. Edwards is by far a very good value. The room was large with two double beds and a full size fridge. We were amazed at how clean our room was considering this... more

Another "senior" and I just spent 4 delightful days at Edwards of Ocracoke. Efficiency #3 was exactly what we expected after visiting its website, and we agree with all the positive TripAdvisor reviews. If we were better walkers, we never would have needed to move our car during the week except to visit the beach. Having Wi-Fi available was a... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at Edwards for four days, and really enjoyed ourselves. The bungalow we had was the perfect size for us, and we were able to park close to our room. We spent a lot of time just relaxing on the porch area, occasionally other Edwards guests. I think my boyfriend especially liked that we were just... more

I've stayed at Edwards since the 70's but never again. I could look past their dinky little showers that not even a child can fit comfortably in. I can look past their tv system that doesn't work properly. I could look past the needle on the floor that stuck me in the foot. What I can't forgive is rude, arrogant... more

This Customer did not have a “good experience” with our Wireless Internet Service. In my view that is the basis for his “comments”. I do note that our Staff responded several times to the Customer’s Problem relative to his inability to attain Wireless Reception. This included at least one instance of us returning after hours to check the service. It...

This was our 2nd trip to Edwards of Okracoke. We stayed in one of the cottages - same one as before and loved the atmosphere. We came to fish. rest and relax. I loved the screened in porch and the ocean breezes at night. Slept like a baby! Service was just great - as usual. This time we took our... more

We stayed in Efficiency #4 at Edwards from Sept. 11 through Sept. 15th. It was exactly what we were looking for. The room had 3 beds, a kitchenette (with stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, dishes, etc), bathroom and a screened porch. The decor was vintage, but we loved it. It really captured the charm of Ocracoke. The room was extremely clean.... more

We booked a room at Edwards through e-mail, based on the prior reviews. We weren't disappointed. It was easy to find, and is close to everything! Stayed in a bungalow room - they are small but quaint and clean. Nice large shower in the bathroom. there was a small flat-screen, but we didn't even turn it on. We had a... more

We stayed in a Courtyard room for 4 nights and loved our experience. This place is a great value and has a great vibe. The rooms are very clean and comfortable - the style is retro but the whole island of Ocracoke is like stepping back in time, so the decor in the room added to Ocracoke's charm. The bathroom... more

We stayed at Edwards of Ocracoke in mid-June and found the bungalow rooms to be a good experience. The rooms have a max capacity of two and we knew that in advance. The bed was clean and comfortable. The A/C worked well. We didn't try the TV. The bathroom was clean. Ice was available from the office anytime. It was... more
