We stopped for a cool treat during a visit April 12, 2014. Good service, great slushy!, plenty of fresh fruit. Fair pricing for a resort area. Good luck finding parking for your car, we took our bicycles from home,

Rented Harbor III and it was quite charming. Two bedrooms, 1 bath but great view and small deck large enough for two comfortably. Washer and Dryer included which is wonderful since there is no laundromat on Ocracoke. Wall unit AC but 2 fans as well and the place was pretty comfortable. Very clean, lots of natural light. Quiet at night.... More

This little store sells ice cream, gelato, and coffee (including espresso drinks). We stopped here twice during our stay on Ocracoke, once for coffee and once for ice cream. Both were good. You can get soft serve ice cream with a variety of toppings, or regular ice cream in plenty of flavors. Contrary to some posts, the service was fine,... More

I always stop by here when in Ocracoke. It's located in what my family and I call the Time Square of Ocracoke- lots of people walking around. I love their Cookie Dough- vanilla with HUGE chunks of cookie dough. Get a small- they are plenty big.

During my stay on this quaint island I looked forward to getting a cold treat for myself after the hot beach. The Slushy Stand had so much to offer, I had a hard time to choose. Some days I would get ice cream, again almost too many flavors to choose from, and others I would get a fresh lime juice... More

On behalf of my hubby, as I sat this one out being lactose intolerant - -> The rainbow vanilla is amazing - actually just regular vanilla with food colouring, but still awesome. :) Fantastic front porch in the one area that would actually be an intersection if Ocracoke ever had one. There's nothing like bringing the fam down for ice... More

If you're at the beach all day and it's really hot and after a lovely dinner of fresh North Carolina seafood, what could possibly be better than indulging in a frosty ice cream treat? Yeah, not much, right? If you're on Ocracoke Island, you should stop in at the Slushy Stand and try one of their ($5) milkshakes. They may... More
