Located in the town of Shallotte just an 8 mile drive to Ocean Isle Beach. Jim and Peggy (hosts) were the sweetest down to earth people. Peggy bakes every morning and you can smell it when you wake up. The house is just lovely and located on a creek with a long pier to walk out on. Located down a windy, narrow road in a beautiful wooded area along with some other homes. It is quiet, beautiful and relaxing. We loved the long porch and the screened in porch with a ceiling fan to eat our breakfast in the a.m. Our room was just $75.00 per night with private bath, ceiling fan and A/C. We had plenty of room to move around (not just around the bed). I highly recommend this inn.
