I brought my girlfriend here for her first B&B experience over her birthday weekend. IT WAS PERFECT!! Terry made us a fantastic breakfast, then Scotty and Eric showed us the farm and all the critters. We also met the new owners and they were very nice and shared with us their vision of how they would like to see the... More

I found this lovely bed and breakfast on a large farm in rural North Carolina. It a very quiet and charming at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was classic fresh fruit, fresh farm eggs and bacon, who could ask for more.

The new owners of the Peacock Inn allowed us to pick up the key midday to accommodate our late check in. We arrived about 10:00 pm and a fruit and cheese plate was waiting for us. After finishing the unexpected treat we headed up to our room filled with antiques, comfortable beds and a huge bath. In the morning a... More

This B&B has a brand new owner and he worked hard to please us! The Inn is beautifully decorated with large rooms and comfortable beds. Our bathroom was gorgeous. Breakfast was served at 9:00 am and it was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this B&B and I hope I have the opportunity to stay here again.

This Inn is under new management and they aim to please. My mother, sister, and I stayed here one night after a day of pampering at Rockbarn Spa. The place was gorgeous! Our room was roomy, with comfy beds and a spectacular en suite bathroom. Kudos to Terry for a delicious breakfast that included sweet potato pancakes, eggs, bacon, and... More

We only stayed one night but I wish it was longer! What a lovely setting and beautiful inn. The rooms were well appointed and absolutely spotlessly clean! It's a great bargain. Wish we had more time to explore the grounds.

My sister and I hosted our parents 50th anniversary party at the Peacock Inn. The venue is beautiful...however, our expectations were not met. The planning process was a challenge - it took forever to receive a contract, prices were not explained completely, and we had to contact the event coordinator several times via email and telephone to answer questions and... First thing you think of at a B & B is the breakfast, right? Well here it is more like a breakfast you would get in Denny's but not as good. Second thing is the house creaks at every step you take. Even the bed was like so noisy getting in and out. Really noisy! The rooms are hot and... More

My husband and I recently enjoyed a spur of the moment overnight stay at The Peacock Inn. I can't say enough nice things about the location, people, and atmosphere we found there. I'm from Newton originally, so I thought I knew a lot about the various places to stay in the area. If The Peacock Inn is a "well kept... More
