The most beautiful, absolutley perfect stay I have ever had away from home. There is nothing that can be improved on. The Inn and the Inn keepers are utterly flawless. The dream of being able to live there forever is just too much to even imagine. Go there and meet the most wonderful people, enjoy a breakfast that satisfies all... more

The Aerie is a lovely old lady and though awkwardly situated for parking and unloading, it has a grace and charm only found in aging architecture. The lovely structure is well tended by an excellent housekeeper and features richly laden breakfasts cooked to order from a changing menu. Our room had the misfortune to be next to the laundry room... more

My husband picked this B & B for a surprise getaway weekend for us. It could not have been a better choice. New Bern is a really neat little town. The inn is within walking distance of cute shops, really good seafood restaurants and we also walked to Tyron Palace, one of the local attractions, only a block away. The... more

Every year my husband and I celebrate our anniversary at a Bed and Breakfast. We usually go to Asheville, NC but we decided this year to switch it up and go to New Bern and say at the Aerie Inn. We are so glad we went! We could not have asked for a more beautiful home, room, and innkeepers. Mike... more

We stayed at 4 B&B's on our recent 8-day trip circling North Carolina. Three were excellent, but I have to say that Aerie was the best. We arrived in time to enjoy wine and cheese and great conversation in the living room with our "innsitter" hostess (owners were out of town) and fellow guests. The hostess was so pleasant and... more

We fell in love with The Aerie: I cannot imagine how it could possibly have been better! Our hostess was incredibly welcoming, ready to assist with recommendations or reservations. This B&B offers cold and hot beverages at any time (including gourmet hot chocolates and coffees), a DVD lending library, board games, and an evening wine/appetizer social hour. The breakfast was... more

We stayed at the Aerie in June. The owners were away but the "Inn Sitter" made us feel at home. The rooms are nice and the location is a block from Tryon Palace. more

We have never stayed in a B and B before and my mother in-law decided to give us the romantic get-a-away package for our wedding gift and we LOVED it, it was beautiful and a very loving and caring atmosphere. We can't wait to make a yearly tradition out of staying there. more

We have stayed in many Inns throughout the southeast and the Aerie is by far the best we have ever experienced! Every comfort and detail was provided and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a culinary delight! more
